Was looking around for awhile on this but it was the wrong info so here to correct that in case someone else was installing a backup cam.
So the trigger wire to trigger the cam to turn on when in reverse is a red w/ blue stripe wire. Its in the wire harness that connects to your back lights. There's only one so shouldn't be confusing. Again this wire only triggers when in reverse. Some people want their cams to turn on anytime at a push of a button like if theyre towing something or wanna check out who's tailgating them.. this won't do that, it only turns on the camera when youre in reverse..
saw somewhere someone mentioned green w/ white wire but that wasn't the case on my 2005 Maxima, its the red w/ blue stripe wire.
The rest of the instructions are simple so just follow the manufacturers directions. You'll need this specially for our cars.
