Cleaned the garage this weekend and found two sets of brand new mats for my 7th gen Max (I had an ’11 with beige interior and my current is a ‘12 with black interior). Totally forgot I had these…

I always replace my carpeted mats with an OEM rubberized set. The night I bought the car (with the beige interior), I also bought a set of OEM rubber floor mats from the dealer and these went directly into a Rubbermaid storage bin when I got home.

Then, when I traded that car for a '12 Max with black interior, I transferred my rubber mats to the new Max and put the new black carpeted ones in storage.

Storage bin was sealed tightly and remained high on a shelf inside of my house, so they never exposed to humidity or sunlight.

All of that to say, neither set has ever been used. No stains or damage. The tiny impressions in the carpet (similar to how carpet in a house looks after it's vacuumed) are temporary, and a result of the “teeth” of the other mats setting on top of one another, and is easily removed by massaging the carpet.

And, because they've never been used, the 'Maxima' stitching is very bright white (on both sets).

The black set would even contrast nicely in a beige interior. And, for anyone with a beige interior, a fresh set of these might come in handy (especially at lease return).

I have a tan interior and the original mats are unused in the trunk. Rubber winter mats are in the car. Those black ones might look amazing in a tan interior. I am interested, I will think about it awhile.
