Wow, and I thought I could be obsessive about small car things... count me in with those who recognize this for what it is -- an inexpensive bit of "POP" (point of purchase) marketing. Something to make you ask the salesperson, "gee, what's 4DSC mean?" I've had my 2010 SV+Premium for a month. With two days, I'd removed the 4DSC sticker, the pinstripes, the door and fender edge guards (yeah, right -- black on a Frost car, yuck), the dealer name badge on the trunk, and the dealer license plate frame.

I'll strongly agree with the whole license plate frame and dealership decals BS... I swear that 90% of the cars on the road today have some cheap, plastic frame that advertises the dealership.

People can be so obtuse sometimes. Kind of like not realizing you had a 4DSC decal for a whole week after you bought the car. Not everyone can appreciate details... or even notice them sometimes.

That was the first thing I stripped off the car was the dealer label. Their not paying me to advertise.

Got my windows tinted the other day and I noticed I now have no 4dsc sticker anymore!!!Mine when I did have it, was on the inside drivers side passengers window. As far as dealer stickers my nissan didn't have any(phew) but my dealer uses similar letters to the maxima to spell their name.Better than some that use hideous bumper sticker like plaques to pimp themselves.

Below is the 4DSC inside-window decal on the driver-side rear-door for the 2010 Maxima.

Has anyone here figured out how to acquire this sticker yet? The dealerships can't find the decal in Nissan's Parts System, and that's as far as they will go to locate it.
Any update? I still have mine. But plan on tinting window. Good idea to keep it under tint? remove before tinting? suggestions?
