It works for me. I have an iPhone & '09 cert Maxima with the iPod cable.

Through iPhone will stream pandora trough the cable on ios 5 and up, You most likely will have to have pandora running in the background BEFORE the phone is plugged in. If pandora does not begin play music, while the phone is plugged in, 1. play any song stored on the phone 2. Go to pandora and press play The playing song should fade out and you'll now hear the pandora station. After the second song, You should be able to see track titles on the screen as well as use the Steering wheel controls

Which iPod interface do you have? USB port in the center or..? The Bluetooth is great but will drain your battery and the sound quality is not as desirable. Try have pandora actually playing on the phone while you plug it in

Lol- Partially correct. Track title display and steering wheel controls don't work for 3rd party apps (pandora) on iOS 4 and you will some times have an issue with the iPhone automatcally reverting to playing whatever was last playing in the iPod app.

I'm in the same page as you are....mine is a 2012 w/limited package edition..Mine didn't come with the ipod cable... So my question is can I buy the ipod cable and installed myself ???

Make sure the silent mode slider has silent mode disabled and the iPhone ringtone should play through the speakers instead of the Nissan default ring. However, if your its possbile that the pin on the on the dock connector for the 3G is not the correct one it needs to be for this function to work

Only one speaker is playing music
I bought a used 09 and it had the ipad cable in the center console, however when I plug in my Iphone 4 the sound will only come out of the passenger speaker. Do you think this is a problem with the cable? THe radio works fine on all speakers..
