little door?

What's the little hatch/doorway under the passengers side headlight?

I popped it off. BIG hole goes way back.

GF said that's where I should mount the machine gun for traffic clearance....

But really, tho, anyone know?

I asked about that at the dealership. They said it's for towing (pulling up on a flatbed). But it does'nt sound like it if it goes way back like you said.

Check in your glovebox or trunk, I bet there is a tow ring that threads into the hole (like on BMW's).

Hmmm. Maybe be on to something there. I do believe that the first few inches were threaded.

I didn't see any loop or hook, but I also didn't look that hard. I ended up getting busy at work and ran out of free time.

I'll try to take a closeup photo and see if there is such a ring or hook, maybe in the trunk.

It may be located near the spare tire or jack.

that's what my dealer said it was when I asked about 1 month ago...for towing. He said for more tragic towing, like when you go down a hill and they have to use a whinch to pull you up. Just what I was told

My dealer said it was for towing too, I have not found anything in the car to attach to it like the BMW.

Me either, but the towing seems to definitely be the answer. I'm surprised I didn't see anything in my users manual tho.

Infiniti's and Zs already had these, its for a small tow hook which gets screwed in... I looked in the trunk and found a "spot" for it, but there is no tow hook... =( Not sure whats up with that.
