Question from a noob 2011 owner. I want to go 22's but want to know is there any rub without lowering the car? Also would i still be able to put a decent tire size on, because i dont want to have to worry about getting a flat tire all the time.

Thanks.

Small tires don't equal flats they equal bent rims...

With 22s you will have to run a 30 series tire which like black said can lead to bent rims, Potholes are your worse enemy!! Still havent recieved my 22s tho so I cant tell you about the rubbing issues yet

Also, it's a good idea to run a higher tire pressure than stock and check it once a month. I run about 40-42 psi.

So I'm looking at these rims in a matte black with a machine face but the size options are 20X9 with a 35mm offset or 20X8.5 with a 40mm offset. Obviously I want the first option but the salesman said those might not fit. Tires will be 245/35. Anyone have rims with these specs with the Eibach springs? Do they rub?

Well I'm not going for the staggered look because I want to be able to rotate the tires. So yeah, they will just all look the same.

I think it really just comes down to personally preference...I happen to like 22s and the way they fill the wheel well. I'm not into lowering springs so 22s give the car a perfect look IMO but as long as they are not ghetto and overdone...I went back n fouth when I was determining the size and ended up goin with the 22s! Now if they would just get here so I can post pics!

This is true, it really is up to personal preference. However I must say that a majority of 22's on the max look comical, and not in a good way. There have been a couple exceptions where they seem to look "right", but those examples seem to be pretty rare. I think with 22's one has to be much more selective with the style of wheel that is being mounted so it does not end up looking like a cheap Hot Wheels reject.

You hit it right on the money, with so many varieties of wheels and people picking the wrong one's it makes the Maxima look comical. People this is not a dodge charger, cars like that have deep wheel wells and look awesome with 22's but on a max what I'm seeing here in the forum most of these post you guys are picking the wrong rims and totally destroying the look of the vehicle i see more wheel than car. If that's the look your going for why not put 24's on if you really want to stand out?

does anyone know if it okay to put a 285/30/20 on the rear of the max with no issues? D-Street has a 275/30/20 on the rear with his staggered CV1's with no issues but can 10 mm cause any problems? I ordered CV1's for my G37S but they sent me the wrong offset and the spokes touch my Brembo's so instead of shipping them back i was thinking of maybe keeping them for my max cuz they offered to knock 6 bills off the cost if i decided to go that route. they are the matte black and silver ones. does anyone also know if the TPMS for infiniti cars will work with the max or do i gotta get new ones?

No way, the stockers are inset a ton more and look plain sad once dropped without spacers. His style may not be your cup of tee, but the wheel size and offset look just about ideal as far as I am concerned.

Maxxxspeed's car looks fine liek it is, I guess with the offset that those wheels have already 10-15mm spacers would probably be ideal.

I think it looks good. The car still has a clean oem look because the wheels dont have the dish and there webbed kind of like the sport wheels. Are they the TSW nurburgrings? http://www.carid.com/tsw-wheels/nurb...-rf-91728.html

Thx 4 the o/s info...the wheels looks good man...might not be your cup of tea, but I think if you put a light smoke on those tail lights..the car will look sweet..
