good info. i was shocked to find out cuz most cars i see with vossens are high end cars. and on top of that they cost damn near as much as some 2 piece wheels.

Yes I know... its sad to see such a cheap wheel be so expensive but not 3 piece wheel price. A Vossen wheels will run you $500 a wheel and a 3 piece ADV1 wheel will run anywhere from $900 - $1400 per wheel but you get what you pay for. And Im talking 22" btw. O yeah and a forged 1 piece wheel will run you about the same or even more depending on the application (brakes clearance, offset, etc...)

not necessarily bad, but compared to forged wheels, they are heavier and weaker. forged multi-piece wheels are made to order to fit any car. but with cast wheels. they are massed produced and only a few bolt sizes, widths, and offsets.

i never had forged wheels but best believe my next set will be forged staggered whether they go on the max or not

Question MPG with wheels changes

I am stuck between 20' and 22's. One of the deciding factors for me is the change in gas mileage. Can anyone with either 20's or 22's comment on what they have experienced?

For reference I have the 18 inch stock wheels on a 2011 SV prem/tech and average 19-21mpg in the city.

if i drive like an old lady i can get 19. otherwise i get 16-17. if you really want 22s but want to keep weight down, get forged wheels. will run about $1000 a piece.

Hey go to 1010tires.com and use the tire calculator. You can put your stock tires on and compare to any size you want and it will tell you your change in speed, gas milage, ect. It's great.

lol @ you guys Hatin on Vossen cuz they cant afford it. Lifetime warranty on rim structure = if you bend crack snap you get a replacement rim.
And im living proof Leo From Vossen in Cali called me personally to make sure my new rim was A1.
and almost forgot the 5 year warranty on the chrome, paint. The cheap rims you get from ebay do they have any of that??? Naaah!!!
For the price i paid for my Vossen's i have on my 370z is worth it. lifetimie warranty = case closed and stfu haters.

whatthejunk, your wheels look huge! I like those 20's they look great on your car. it also looks like you have it lowered already. I want coilovers, but feel like going cheap and getting some eibach springs

im not hating. vossen makes nice wheels. i just think if you spend that much on wheels, you could get forged wheels for not much more.

SWEET WHEELS, do they rub at all with the 35 offset, I am looking at 20X8.5 with a 45 offset, meaning mine will stick in a little more than yours. If you have time can you take a picture of the car looking from rear to front on the side so I see how much they stick out if any please.

Thanx

10MM offset change is quite a bit difference. Be sure 45mm is what you want. Personally I try to get as flush as possible without having to roll or modify anything. I sent back a set of wheels over 2mm once.

Well i think an inch is like 24mm. 3mm is like a hair of a difference. I doubt anyone would notice.
