I liked the Niche Euro too, but my installer said it was discontinued.

Yea if you get cheap tires. And not everyone wants to look exactly like the next Maxima they see. Part of modding is about individuality.

/flame suit on

I love how someone who clearly:

a. has never used a computer (or doesnt know what the caps lock button is for)

b. doesn't contribute positivly to the board

c. feels this way about wheels, is even commenting in this particular thread

Has only three posts and does this as their best way of increasing post count...

/Flame suit off

Anyhow, thanks to everyone who has contributed positvly to this thread. Can't wait to get new wheels and rubber this spring. Starting when there is no chance for snow left here in Ct (april) expect a huge build thread, I am going to make this one sexy beast...

oh and to Dominick0128... its a shame you can't like in Moddern Warefare...

I was thinking about putting rims on my 2012 Maxima. If i put 245/30/22 on will they scrub. Is anyone currently running this set-up and have any issues.

I have that size and the front rubs just by a hair if I hit a dip too fast. The back doesn't rub at all. I have a +35 offset, 8.5" width so if you don't want any rub at all you can get like a +38 or +40 offset or narrower wheels but the wheels won't be as flush with the fenders. Or you could get the front fenders rolled or use a 235 tire. Lots of options.

I would put 245/30s on a 10.5" wheel try that an call me in the morning! And 225/35s in the front on a 9" wheel

22" for the maxima looks ridiculous if it is NOT lowered.

U must lower it because it raised up the car too much, the entire diameter of a 22 inch wheel and tire increased big time, which in turn raises up the car big time.

here's my 22x8.5 with 35 offset, 245 tires. i would do a test fit if possible with your wheels....245/40/19 are what's used on the stock 19s so i would use that. maybe a 255/40/19 if you want a wider look.

Thanks Car Addict, really nice car and pics by the way, so essentially 19x8 with 35mm offset would be 0.5" more narrow than your setup?

thanks. the 19x8 would stick out 6mm less then a 8.5" wheel of the same offset

yea i think 8.5" width with 35 offset is perfect. or get a forged custom built to order wheel.

a negative offset cannot be modified to a positive offset....but a positive offset can become a negative offset with the use of spacers. Ignore the offset right now...a 10" wide wheel unless you are using drag slicks is pointless on the front...now factor in the offset and i doubt it will even fit...although i havent measured the wheel wells of my car yet...........

EDIT

i have actually heard of someone have their wheel hub machined down to get a higher offset.

I don't think it's perfect, it will be too sunken in in the front and rear.

prefferably 9.5 +35 is ideal.

or 8.5 +20 but you can't stretch tire much. it will look funny if you stretch in such a narrow width wheel.

if you want a flush fit you are going to have to go with a custom wheel but you may be talking big bucks none of these people know the exact fitment trust me I know just by reading what they post on this thread
