Thanks!

I can't wait to get them installed. I ordered a set of Vogue Signature V 245/40R20 to wrap them. The tires come in on Tuesday, so I should be able to post picks by the weekend if the weather is nice. Check out the link below to learn more about the new Vogue performance tyre.

Hey Guys google some Lorenzo WL036MB I'd like to get 19's. Let me know what you think. Also, the shop suggested for summer tires Nexen N3000? I know nothing about the ride quality of tires. So a little help there too would be nice thanks guys!

Nexen are low quality cheap tires. Buy quality tires, it's the only thing holding your prized possession to the road.

I was a little concerned about that. I originally ordered 245/35R20 but had some issues with Discount Tire getting in the tire that I originally ordered and paid for. Now they're telling me that the tire is on back order and the only size they can get me in a reasonable time is the 245/40R20.

Do you think I will have issues with rubbing? I just installed Pro-Kit springs on Saturday.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I'm going to call the District Manager tomorrow so they can get this figured out. I paid for the tires (245/35R20) back on 3/31. They still hadn't arrived on 4/11 and when I talked to the rep that handled my order, he said he forgot to actually submit the order after I paid for the tires.

He kept telling me there would only be a 1/2" difference in the side wall between the 35 and the 40. I'm glad I have you guys to steer me straight. Thanks!

Anyone have 245/35/19 and 265/35/19 on their Max?
I just ordered a set of Bridgestone Potenza S04 for my 370z wheels. Will be almost 1 inch shorter than stock in front to help with this horrible gearing.

Bought Falken ziex 950s in 245/40/19 all the way around about 1000 miles ago for their superior winter traction while being a performance tire. But now that I'm headed to the south where I won't see snow hardly I want a more summer oriented tire. So my old ones will be for sale.

Pic from yesterday with the Falken tires.

I had 275/40/18 on the rear. 265 shouldn't be a problem with the right offset.

I know they'll fit just wanted to see them on a car. Gonna be a small side wall with the 245/35 but almost an inch shorter should help the gearing noticeably.

Yep...
We finally got it worked out. I'm getting the Nitto NT555 in 245/35R20. Not my first choice but at this point, I just want to be done with this fiasco.

I'm at the shop right now awaiting install. I'm going to stand here and watch them like a Hawk.

I'll post pics as soon as it's done...Then again, the sun is going down so I may have to post pics tomorrow.

Got my tires mounted today as well. Pics to come when it's not raining.

I really like the way it looks with these tires.
Bridgestone Potenza S04 245/35/19 and 265/35/19 on 370z staggered rims.

Tire Rack rated these #2 in the ultra performance category only behind the famous Michelin Pilot Super Sports

SAPHYRE is looking great now that the rims and tires are installed. How do I post pics in the thread like you did below?

Looks good. Ever consider darkening the rims a little? Would look great on a white car.

Looking forward to seeing what they look like as I myself am about to pull the trigger on some wheels. I like the stock 19's look too so I'm gonna do something similar and the black with chrome should look pretty sick. get those picks up!

I apologize for not having pics in the thread. I can't figure how to put them in. Can someone tell me how to do that?

In the mean time, if you go to my garage I have lots of pics there. My Maxima is called SAPHYRE; look for that name in the photos tab. I've posted lots of pics of the Max in different locations.

I'm a corporate guy so, I'm going for a clean "better than stock" look. My thought is to make the car look like my version of a Nissan Option package.

My next mods:
Paint calipers and hubs black
Magnaflow axle back exhaust
Stillen front lip
Upgrade to the Premium Bose System

Looks like I figured it out. I saw that some of you were using pictures posted from your Photobucket account. I set up an account, loaded my pics, and copied the URL from the individual picture to here.

The Pro Kit made my car feel more athletic. Everything is nice and tight but still smooth and the ride quality is awesome. I had my work done by Vishal Patel at VP Automotive in Marietta GA. On any given day you may see a Gallardo, R8, Panamera, Bentley, and AMG Benz all at his shop to have customization work done. I figured he would be the right guy to handle the work on my Max.

Thanks man , yours is clean also (22"s in your wheels would look sick imo) but its a 22x8.5 wheel with + 40 offset. 245/30/22 tires and i actually paid a guy 100 to do my eibachs . Ive donenit before but since lacking a few tools-$100 is a steal for eibach install- so it was a no brainer. Looked pretty easy. Took ab 2 1/2 hrs with one floor jack, and one jack stand , spring compressor,( and thats including the time going get it at auto zone) and a few wrenches and sockets.

Tire dressing as in size or shine? Lol

If by shine , then i use Dub tire shine made by Meguiars. Has an orange scent and gives that greasy look on the tires.

Im so loving the ride though, granted i still feel the bumps and what not ( probably due to 22"s and 30 series tires. But for me, the car rides handles alot better, and looks better than before drop .crazies thing tho, i used to rub before the dropAnd now no rub at all

As far as suspension, all you have are springs? Have you done an alignment at all? I have eibach springs as well but my rear doesn't look as low as yours or others that I have seen on here.

@414sFinest,

Yes...the only suspension mod I have so far, is the Eibach Pro Kit and a 4 wheel alignment. My installer (Vishal) said that there is something he does during the install to make the car "sit right" that other installers might not be aware of. I'm not sure what he does but he customizes mostly high end exotics so I trust him. The ride is phenomenal!

Thanks for the compliments.

Stock Ride height rim options

Hey guys, I've tried looking through this whole thread but there is just quite a lot to look through and I might have missed it.

My question is: at stock ride height, using a 20x8.5(or 9) inch rim, what offset will I need in order have them flush with the fender?

Keeping it stock height because I do far too much driving in this car every day to have to deal with it being lowered.

I'm thinking of going with the TSW Nurburgring rims, has anyone seen these on any 7th gen Maximas?

Thanks
