Back on topic ... I quickly went through this whole thread looking for wheels on a 7th gen with a drop. Props to the folks that went ahead with the wheels, but IMO I'd wait for springs before doing the wheels. The offsets for a lowered vs stock height cars are typically different. You should be able to get more lip on a lowered car.

If one DID go with 20s, a serious drop would be mandatory.

I'm running 245/30/R22s and I BARELY bump the tires only when I fully cut the wheel and go faster than I should backing up. (Non issue)
Not really the drop with springs is 1.4" (H&R) which is about what the wheel gap is with stock wheels.

I am so freaking jealous that you have those on your car.... I wanted to get those for my altima when i had it but my grandfather said they were cheap cause town fair tire was selling them in a package deal w/ tires. How do you think the quality is? They look amazing on the Max

I definitely like this setup on your MAX!!! The silver with all Chrome rims looks GREAT!!! They also look like they cost you a pretty penny....! I hope you got them puppies on lockdown with some rims locks! I have them on all of my tire studs as well as a two way VIPER remote system that tells me if someone is messing with my ride, also has a tip sensor and window breakage device that keeps my MAX secure. It also helps that it has a mile range and I am licensed to Carry concealed in the event I need to run out to my MAX from the store or a movie and can intercept any woodby thieves!

Where am I going with this post.......NICE RIDE Ms. Maxima!!!!

im surprised more people are not going with a 255 tires on 20's rather than the stock 245 width. its a little wider but would look better overall from the rear...

i like Choice setup with the 255 series..

im planning on 20x8.5 rims and 255-35-20 falken 452 tires.

OHHHHHH YEAH!!!! SWEET RIDE

I absolutely love they way your ride looks!!! I actually almost went with the TSW line of rims with the JARAMA at the top of my list! But I ended up with the VOSSEN rims and I am totally pleased!

But I have to say your ride is nice and clean! I also love the LIMO tint, I wish I could have gone all the way around my MAX with 5%, but here in MO it is illegal and as well in San Antonio TX where I will be going in two months.

Are you looking to lower your MAX??? The thought has crossed my mind to make the jump, but I am afraid that I won't like the ride that I currently love so much now with the stock Sport suspension.

Thank you...

Actually I am not lowering it I am doing Hydraulics AKA Juice.. So I can adjust my suspension to my liking and still ride stock height or lower if I want. It is completely bolt on no cutting etc! my fiance' is the specialist on working on hydraulics I will post pics when the project is complete..

NissanGoddess, I missed it when I read your post about the "JUICE", then I realized that you would not need to lower her at all with the system in place because you could have it at any height when it is all done! Good Luck on the Juice project and defintely post pics or maybe even a Video when it is all hooked up!

Just FYI, "Juice" is either nitrous or steroids... Nothing else. lol

Alpha, that all depends on where you live and what dialect of slang you use. I've heard juice referred to nitrous, gas, hydraulics, steroids, speed, electricity, moonshine, etc.

Step on the juice! My computer doesn't work, the elec. co turned off the juice.

Or, the way my young daughter says. Liquid from a crushed fruit. (orange juice)

Or when I have to go to the gas station and get me some more "go juice".

I think 22's fill the wheel wells nicely, but the weight of them just blows my mind. I'm definitly sticking with a lightweight 20 when I'm ready to get wheels. I also would have concerns about making the car look like it's on stilts with 22's.

I know these are factory but I cannot find pics of these anywhere on the Net and haven't seen these on the street yet.
Got a black SV Premium with these 18" chromes. Can't go higher in NE Ohio roads. Need the cushion with the taller rubber.
Here's the pics.

Here's a car that I have been looking at for a while. Letting it sit in hopes for a great deal. If it gets taken before I get there, oh well, not meant to be. Sorry for the quality, it's my iPhone.
