0 - 30 (sec): 2.8
0 - 45 (sec): 4.4
0 - 60 (sec): 6.3
0- 60 (sec) with 1-ft Rollout: 6.0
0 - 75 (sec): 8.9
1/4 Mile (sec @ mph): 14.5 @ 95.9

Stock it basically does around 14.5 which isn't to bad, it's on par with the 5th and 6th gen autos for the most part give or take a .1th.

But then again it isn't to great as an 02-03(MY GEN!!!) maxima (7 years old) can run a 14.1-14.3 stock(with a Sex Speed of course)

ALSO Please note an '08 G35 sedan auto does the 1/4 in 13.8 which you can get for the same price one year used as a semi fully loaded 09 and is a MUCH nicer car inside and out, aas well as being more of a status symbol then a maxima ever can be simply because of it's place in nissan's line up.

any year maxima = grocery getter
any year g35 sedan= luxury grocery getter

nissan priced them to close together imo i know i'm off on a G tangent but hear me out. a fully loaded every optioned out maxima goes for 42k+. a g35 starts at 32k...

It's hard to compare cars to each other, but I test drove 5 cars before I bought. funny enough, each car was pretty much what it said it was.

2008 Accord V6...smooth, sleek with EX-L package, nice nav system, good price...felt a bit "heavy", and was a bit too plain looking for me.

2008 Trailblazer SS- I liked this one a lot-6.0 V8, tons of power, great leather nav dvd system etc-AWD..was what it was, but mid 30's at BEST price wise MSRP is 42, too much for a chevy SUV.

2006 Pontiac GTO- Cheap-got offered one for 26,000 that had 400 miles on it last summer. brutal power-400hp and man its LOUD. Like a race car.

2008 Impala SS- This was kind of close to Maxima but felt BIG. Didn't like the "small" 5.3 V8 and the fuel systems shut off cylinders etc...it was a 300hp car that couldn't have been more boring.

2008 Acura TL Type S-Liked this car a lot. The 2008 was offered to me at the sAME price as the 09 Maxima..out the door. MSRP on TL-S was 38k. It was a good deal but the "old style" TL wasn't what I wanted witht he brand new ones on the lot.

2008 Chevy Corvette- This was the one I came closest to buying...great car. awesome power, braking was incredible, and smooth ride.

The 09 Maxima is a good car. It's smooth, powerful, got tons of good options, nice redesign, and I like the dealership I bought from.

I'm not sure where you got your times from for the 09 Max but in the Car & Driver September 2008 edition it shows the 09 Max 0-60 time of 5.8 sec and covers the quarter in 14.5 at 100mph.

I can partially confirm that it does feel significantly faster (seat of the pants) than my 2003 SE Max but then again maybe that has to be due to the fact that it doesn't get all that torque steer from the launch like my 03.

As far as your comment about the G35 looking better and being better in the interior than the 09 Max or as you put it "much nicer" inside and out, I'd disagree that it is much nicer but rather they are both on par in the interior fit and finish and the 09 IMO looks better/far more unique looking than any sedan on the road today.

The G doesn't turn heads the way the Max 09 does, just my 2 cents.

Thanks, enjoy the ride.

There have been a few reviews stating that the interior quality is on par with the G37, which leaves me wondering: what's next for Infiniti?

I was trying to state that every car is different. It's hard to say what's "better".

also why do i keep seeing you post negative things about what i'v said so often after i post? i keep seeing it more and more. do you have something against me metal? have i offended you?

edit: can you show me the reviews that say the interior of the 09 max is on par with the g37?

(1) Op asks what times the 2009 pulled, you, mls277 post.
(2) Life is good
(3) You question the relevance of mls277's post

Now, if we examine your post, while you did post specs, you also compared the 2009 to the 5th gen, 5.5gen, 6th gen, AND the G35; all, of course, bear NO relevance to OPs query. If anything, mls277's posts were spurned by YOUR comparison to other cars.

also why do i keep seeing you post negative things about what i'v said so often after i post? i keep seeing it more and more. do you have something against me metal? have i offended you?
No negativity here, just pointing out that your post had equal irrelevance to mls277's. Both good posts, though, I might point out.

edit: can you show me the reviews that say the interior of the 09 max is on par with the g37?
Sure thing. Check the link listed below, I want to make a correction in that they perform the comparison to a G35, not a G37.

Yes, I meant 1/4 mile. I've tried the Impy SS. I thought it was front heavy and the plastic interior pieces cheezy. I drove the V6 Accord Coupe and didn't like it. Power was good but it just didn't fit me or i felt I couldn't see all around. I drove a 4cyl Accord and it was better for visibility but no comparison to the 6. I want to test drive the Altima, Maxima and the Ponitiac G8GT. The one item I hate to give up is the heated steering wheel. I am pretty impressed with the power of the G8 though. Many are in the low 13s with just minor bolt ons and there is a new twin turbo kit that someone has and he's run 11 flat @130 with only the kit and cat back.

I tested a G8 today. Whoa! That the power I'ld love. Handled well for a heavy car too. Some nice features but not anywhere near the toys as a Maxima.
