I called Eibach in September and they told me they were targeting the November timeframe. Stillen also commented recently on another thread that they were close to releasing their springs. No idea what the current status is though. Soon I hope!

I thought about doing it, but I am afraid that I will lose the feel of the ride that I experience with my sport tuned MAX right now. I will have to wait and see and hear public reviews once more MAX owners lower thier ride!!!

what the crap are you even talking about?

h&r springs were always know to try to keep the ride as close as possible to stock while lowering the center of gravity of the vehicle...

will probably void warranty on the shocks/struts or what ever. Maybe the tire warranty if you don't do an alignment pronto. And the dealer would have to prove that your after market springs caused the warranty failure issue.
i.e. there is no way that installing after market springs will cause you to drop a rod and have your motor fail.

I can't imagine changing springs causing something else to fail.
Some tint jobs have been known to put extra load on the power window motors, but I wouldn't imagine that would void a warranty.
I'm really anxious to drop this thing. I think the Stillen Max looks phenomenal.
If I thought the Altima springs would work I wouldve already ordered those.
Do you think theirs sits so low because the springs are for an Alt and the Max is heavier on the springs? That Stillen drop gas to be 2" all around.

Springs will not void warranty unless the dealership service department is really ****. I even bet most dealerships would not even notice the vehicle was lowered unless you told them.

get the H&R springs. They provide a good drop but the ride is close to stock..

The wife just told me that she was planning on lowering my car for my birthday. She was also planning on getting fully adjustable shocks to go with it. Do most of the Max guys who lower, get new shocks as well? It really sounds like I'd be a fool not to do the whole deal (since she offered it that way), and I can change up the ride some.

I really think I'll need new wheels after this...

if you bother with warranty - you would never do a mod to your car lol... putting a CAI will void your warranty if the dealer wants 2 go hard on it but they cant say something like the CAI damaged your suspension or something like that lol..

With lowering springs you put alot more stress on your shocks and struts. The travel distance of the shock/strut is reduced alot and i read that this has something to do with them going bad sooner.

troof be spoken

you all want the Eibach springs, but the ride quality goes firm (to be nice)...H&Rs are known to have the performance of eibach, but keep the stock ride quality...

I just visited a shop that says Eibach does have springs available for the 7th gen. They were 240 through them. They said that H&R springs are available for the same price, but they're notorious for providing a lower than advertised drop. I'm going with the Eibach 1.6/1.8 drop. The springs should be in the next few days. I'll try to post pictures...some kind of way.

The shocks are not available yet. So I'm getting the springs now and the struts later- and hopefully some wheels sometime in the summer.

Well looks like I was told wrong- the Eibach springs are NOT available yet. So, I'll be going with the H&R springs. My shop told me that they had seen a lot of H&R springs provide more of a drop than advertised. Yet here I have not heard anything bad.

Fingers crossed, eh.

hey everyone im new here ...im impatiently waiting for my dealer to call me and say "COME GET YOUR CAR!" well long story short im leasing the 09 maxima base model for 288 a month 0down (only tax title dmv & one month payment)

and im saying goodbye to my 2007 altima 2.5s (served me well)

and im considering lowering the vehicle because i like to have a firm ride and to tighten up steering... (going from the 05 altima to the 07 altima i noticed steering was looser but suspension was a bit more firmer) what im trying to get at is i didnt like how loose it was on the 07 but i did get used to it....

what would be a ideal drop?
and does anyone know the drop on the stillen maxima because i really like how it sits...

Thank you

Hey when are you scheduling the dealer to install these? I want to see some pictures before I make the plunge. LOL

On a serious note how is the sound level when cruising with the Cat-Back?

Actually we are running Eibach's, but for the 3.5L Altima Sedan.. as they have the same fitment, but different rates, and we were building the car for SEMA last year, before Eibach had the final production version of the Pro-Kit.

It actually rides really nice, has a 2" front and 2" rear drop.. more aggressive..

I haven't driven a Max with the production Eibach's, but we do have numerous happy customers.

So your running the 3.5L 07+ Altima Sedans Eibach's springs on the 09 Max? Just got a little confused there.

Around $1000 depends on what company you go with. Damn man I didn't know that you didn't even have your car yet. I can't wait to hear/see what you do to it when you actually get it, lol.
