iPod Charging Not Supported
iPod Charging Not Supported
This is the product from the other thread on Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...X0DER&v=glance, you just have to find any other item that is eligible for Free Super Saver Shipping and it is the cheapest place to get it. I went with http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...X0DER&v=glance as my second product, you might be able to find something cheaper if you search for a while. Everywhere else its at least $25 and $4 or more shipping.
I have a 2G iPod Touch and when I plug it in it connects fine but it says charging is not supported, and doesn't charge. The same thing happens with my girlfriends old iTrip, connects but no charging.
Has anyone figured out how to get around this charging issue with new iPods for this car or any other device? I'm thinking about cutting the cords and putting the newer plug on the end, im going to compare them and see if anything looks significantly different first that would be causing the problem.
