Smh...well i feel it off and on its not really noticeable i think only Ds using the shifters, and only while the car engages forward slowly. Not sure if it could be just the gears doing there job or some other cause to make that slight knock feeling in the pedal.

YES!! I thought I was going NUTS! I only have 4k on the odometer and this occurred while I was on a trip cruising through the mountains at about 75-80 mph, it seems to happen when traveling over rough patches of road. The accelerator pedal pulsated with vibrations it was the weirdest feeling ever. I haven't felt it since but lately I've been driving my Z full-time.

I don't know about the knock the earlier posters are discussing, but I think you are feeling what ORG posters think may be the ABS system making its checks. This happens only once each time the car is started, between 17 and 20 MPH, right about the time the doors are locking automatically. Some folks call it a soft knock, while others feel it is more of a rumble. Only lasts a second or two. This happens on all '09 Maximas, although a few drrivers here haven't noticed it yet.

Yup every morning I feel it. It actually tells you in the manual that you should let your car run for at least 30 seconds before taking off. This will give the computer time to check everthing.

Well in my case its not the "ABS" bc this happens off and on while the car has been driven for a hour or more

I have a similar problem, it almost sounds like a plucking of a heavy spring. It happens often when I am driving and also when I get into the car in the morning BEFORE it is turned on. It is external. It drives me nuts.

One of my co-workers just bought one and his does it too.

Help?

09SV, we seem to have a mixture of different things here. The sound I was talking about, and which many here (such as 1sik4dsc and BMWHIGH1) have commented on over the past five or six months, ONLY happens when the car has just been started, and reaches a speed between 15 and 20 MPH.

By contrast, your sound can happen before the car is started, MaxLoverAZ's noise happened at between 75 and 80 MPH, and NiteCrawler's and JR27's noise can happen at any time while driving.

Part of this is that we are all **** about our ride, or we wouldn't be here on the ORG. Being **** about our ride, we tend to notice everything that happens with our car. We are a totally different breed than most Lexus, Avalon or Buick drivers. With us, no sound goes unnoticed.

09SV, since your sound is external, and can happen as you are just getting into your car, it almost has to be tied in some way to the suspension.
