J.D. Power & Asscociates - Initial Quality Study (IQS)
Well the Maxima for sure, and I'm guessing most nissans, give you more options and horsepower for the money when compared to Toyota and Honda. It seems that this is not due to magic but by being more relaxed with quality control and user things that cost less. I love my Maxima so far though and haven't had any problems so I am happy with whatever they did to make it cost less, maybe they cut corners on their other models

.Right Seat Vibration (NTB)
Left Rear Suspension Nuckle (NTB)
Drivers Side Seat Rocking (Can't verify yet if this has a NTB on it yet)
Any others?
I pretty much agree with you although were starting to have a short list of problems and that is a bit concerning especially since I have two 09 vehicles that just had some minor face lifts:

Some of the older folks are pretty strong. I have been fighting off car heart attacks ever since I bought my new Mustang in 1965.
I ignore those 'reliability by manufacturer' tables because I'm not buying all fourteen (or whatever) different vehicles Nissan makes; I am buying just the Maxima. As a result, the only reliability rating I am concerned with is that of the Maxima.
The Maxima has always had good reliability ratings. Sadly, the Armada, Quest, Titan and Pathfinder have NOT had good reliability ratings, and have brought Nissan's overall rating down to 'average.'
Never let a manufacturer's overall reliability rating affect your car-buying decision. Look only at the reliability ratings of the specific vehicle you are considering.
