What is the color of your 2009+ Maxima
I had to choose between:
Crimson Black (which is AMAZING - but still very dark and scratches would show up like mad)
Slate - which is so common these days. So common in fact that my cousin (who I live with) has a G37 in that color and the person who lives upstairs from me had a Nissan Quest in that color
Ocean Gray --> LOVED IT! The black roof made it 2000% better!!
I love my Ocean Gray baby!

I went with Frost exterior and charcoal leather. Like a lot of the others, I thought it really set off the all glass top (I have front and rear glass roof). I don't think there's any question that the black looks awesome on this car. But I've owned a black car and it shows everything. I live in North Florida -- we have "pollen season" all but a couple months of the year. You can wash a black car here and have it look yellow in a day. I've joked for years, that the the quickest way to make it rain is to wash your black car. White stays surprisingly clean, which is counter intuitive. As for the interior, I think the charcoal will look nicer over time. Light leather always seems to get dingy looking around here -- probably sun and sweat, right? Also, the red stitching in the charcoal leather really caught my eye (nice touch considering it doesn't cost them a dime to do). To be honest, I wasn't crazy about the Maxima color choices. Nissan has a completely different palette for the Murano, and I liked several of those colors better. Shame they don't use the same paint for both models. I'm a designer by profession -- the silver and dark gray for the Maxima are both "cool grays" -- in that they have a blue cast, as opposed to "warm grays" which can range from champagne silvers to almost sand grays. I personally find the warm range "richer" and more what I expect to find on expensive cars. If they had offered one of those choices, I probably would have gone that way. I did like the Tuscan Sun -- but my other car is a dark red Infiniti G35 -- I still love the color, but it was time for a change (according to my girlfriend). When I purchased, I went to a dealer that had ALL of the colors on the lot -- I wasn't surprised to find that half of the colors looked completely different than as represented in the brochure (like I said, I'm a designer), so I was very glad I did this. Some have mentioned the dark interior in the South being a bad idea -- I've been amazed at how jacked up the AC is in the new Maxima -- the interior cools off super fast (it's been in the high 90s here this week) -- much faster than my G35, with the light "willow" leather interior, which gets super hot regardless of the light color. So there you have it.
What's up guys! New member aboard, just picked up a 2010 Ocean Grey Maxima SV Premium w/ Monitor Package about 3 weeks back and absolutely love it!! Before this Max, I had a Maroone 03 Altima, then jumped into a Satin Silver 03 RSX Type-S, followed by a Frost white 05 Maxima SL, back into a Nighthawk Black Pearl 06 RSX Type-S (I know it's crazy the amount of cars I've been through, especially being only 20 [without the help of mommy and daddy] LOL). I thought I was gonna stay stuck on the RSX for a while, but that changed when I recently found out I'm a father to be!! All in all, I love the Max and the color I chose, Ocean Grey FTW!!

Congrats on that as well man! Yeah I've been checking out The ORG for a while and finally decided to make an account. I've read a few of your posts and the Radiant Silver is an excellent choice as well. I think the reason I chose Ocean Grey is because I've been through all the flashy/standout colors (minus Type-R Yellow, lol) and I feel as though it was time to choose a classy color so-to-speak
Gotta represent for the Navy Blue metallic. Just about EVERY car on the road is some kind of silver, white or black. Just boring colors to me. Narrowed it down to the Tuscan Sun or Navy Blue with the Cafe Latte leather. Once I saw the Navy Blue with tan leather, I was sold. Every one of my friends compliments me on my color choice. While it may be a PITA to keep clean, the depth of the paint really stands out after a good polish and wax. There are so many curves on this 7th gen that depending on how the light hits it, the color changes from dull blue to a bright metallic blue.
Had I seen a Crimson Black with a tan interior on the lot, definitely would have gone with that color instead. The way that paint changes color in the bright sun is simply stunning.

Black Car=Early Death
LOL-me too on my black Altima, my wife accused me of being "OCD" staring at the car looking for more swirl marks or dirt. Holy crap that color looks good but will give you a stroke with the amount of maintainence.
Got Dark Slate with charcoal interior and 30% tint on my windows. I live in Altanta and its fine with the heat. Even the black I had before was fine with the windows tinted. I love the look of the Dark Slate-in some light it looks gray in others somewhat light blue....

Thanks alot buddy! welcome aboard, yea the ocean gray is a beautiful color, it is very luxurious and does stand out. I never see ocean grey maximas here on staten island, everyone has white, black or silver. I have only seen two silver sport package maximas tho so Im happy! Enjoy your car dude!!

Thanks man I appreciate it! Yea I think I'm the only one in Key West, Florida who has the Ocean Grey color. Going a bit further, theres approximately only 6 Maximas MAX that live here in Key West so they pretty much stand out. I had some guy sitting next to me at a light asking if that was a new Lexus LMAO! I only spared him mercy due to the fact that he seen the car from the side and didn't seem too knowledgeable about cars lol.

I almost got a mystic jade because it was the only sport on the dealer's lot with the monitor package. Ended up with silver and the tech package. That mystic jade is such a beautiful color but my father didn't like it. I love how its a different color like in every lighting scenario. One sec it's grey, the next it's green, then silver, I loooooved it!!!!

hahaha, I've had a couple black cars in the past and that was always the case
Coming in to the dealership last Monday, my wife and I agreed to these colors by preference:
1. Blue with latte and then charcoal interior (because it's not that common)
2. Winter Frost with Latte interior - it really does look nice inside and out
3. Radiant Silver - only because it is a color that is very visible at night as well as a color we know we can't get sick of for the life of the car. Plus it stays "clean" compared to the Blue and white
In the end, we came home with the Radiant Silver as it was the last 2010 SV Premium they had in the lot. The Blue was gone and the SV Winter Frost they had on the lot was a 2011!
According to my sales person, the Crimson Black is actually a good selling color. I think he said Winter frost was the leading color followed by crimson.
Must say though, the Radiant Silver has a nice depth to it compared to the Dark Slate '07 Altima I came from.

Nothing like that Radiant Silver to bring the bling into the streets, plus this is a car that hardly ever looks dirty, the only drawback about this color is that somehow ppl tend to not be able to see you when you're on the road.
I always use my headlights even in the daytime.
The curves, countours and edges show up better on the Radiant Silver far more than any color

I have a navy blue max. I didn't really have a choice on what color considering i was looking for a used car. I love the white, especially because I am very into doing visual mods to my car, which is kinda of hard to do with blue. I love how you can murder out black and white cars and they look sick, but the blue has really grown on me.
I strongly considered the Ocean Gray before ordering the Winter Frost. I changed my mind because the color was too close to the Platinum Graphite color of my Z. Also, I like the contrast between the Winter Frost and the black roof. I personally think I made a great choice.
