R2C Performance Products Intake
#281
I talk to Ed on a weekly basis and he's nearly done with our intake. The reason it has taken so long is that his boss has him going back and forth between several projects.
Please be patient guys, these units will be the best available no doubt.

i dunno what to believe. I thought cattman said in a previous post that , they have stopped production because of the slow sales from the 6th gen intakes?

So the guy that did the test fitting; you wanna explain where you got those numbers? Hopefully you posted the wrong sheet or something.

Spoke with Ed today about the 6th and 7th gen projects and he seems almost as excited about the 09+ test fit and pending production as you guys are. I think its pretty much been said already, but he confirmed that the test fit went well and said that the typical timeline between completed prototype to ship-ready parts is 4 weeks.

You can dyno a CVT. It just won't be as accurate as a manual, or traditional automatic. But you can still get a baseline #, and a # after any mod(s). That's what they are shooting for. It's not so much the raw numbers any car puts out, but rather, the differences between stock/mods that's important.
The wait will be worth it, guys!

They are going to try a dyno this week. They don't think it will be a problem. They want some kind of #rs anyway, just to be sure for themselves.

Just be patient. This will be the best intake available, and they want to make damn sure of that.
