Hey fellas..im at da tint shop to tint my tails quick question...should I tint the. Whole tail or tint just the red part of the tail leaving the white part out....let me know asap...um at the shop as we speak...

 

I say tint just the red. But it all depends on what you are doing with the car in the long run....

since my car is black i would go for the whole thing.. but i would luv to see what it looks like on a black car with just the red part tinted

i went to the place u told me about.... charged me $115 for tails , side mirrors and spoiler! i went with just tinting the red part only..... although both ways looked good .. thanks again bro!! i will post pics up a little later!!! since i havent seen any one do it with their silva max as of yet!!!

 

I would've tinted the whole thing, which is part of my plan anyway. I'm going to get the front lights tinted, the white leds on the mirrors and the entire rear lights and I have a Radiant Silver too.

good good, yea they do good work there, im looking forward seeing those pics, and btw be careful not to get the tails wet for a couple days that what they told me, i guess to wait for the glue to dry alittle bit

Didn't you watch Mythbusters? They proved license plate covers don't work unless you drive and jet engine powered vehicle. Even the lambo going full throttle couldn't beat speed cameras.

 

lmaooo, true , but i wasnt refering to speed cameras, i was refering to the police because i know in nyc they give you tickets for them even if you have slightly smoked ones. As a matter of fact, nyc traffic gave me 2 tickets a couple months ago while i was parked in front of my house for having them on my car. The tickets were like 35 dollars each.

 

 

That's seems too be a trend here in Houston where the tails are basically blacked out. I've been behind of a F-150, Beemer, and a 350z and all the LED's were barely visible. I've wanted to do mine for the longest time but I didn't know how dark I would want it. I like the shade D-street has on his silver Max.
And as for the license plate cover, I would definitely get a ticket here in H-town for obscuring my tags like that.
