It's normal and exactly how it should work. It gets really hot to warm it up and then levels out to a comfortable temp. Hope this helps.

I am going back to the dealer with my driver's seat heating working intermittently. If I start the car first thing in the morning, heat setting on highest (rotary *** all the way to the right), I barely feel any warmth. If I shut off the car and then start it again, then I feel the seat getting much warmer. I had my seat cushion replaced a year ago, but before that happened, I had my seat get so hot, I my butt would feel like its burning!
Wonder what the dealer will tell me?!
