Real Wood Dash Trim Kits

Has anyone installed a real wood dash trim kit yet? Any suggestions on which one to go with?

I have one but the dealer had a third party that specializes in this kind of thing come in and do it. It's better then what it was but the inherant problem with them is that you still have to allow room for movement so in some cases not everything is covered.

Yeah, that makes sense. Maybe I'll order a kit and see how everything lines up. Thanks much for the info.

those dash kits look interesting I wouldn't mind take a look at some pics of them installed. Alot of have that overlay look that screams "FAKE!!!!!" but at times some pieces can be acceptable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but theses kits are not any good for those of us without seat warmers. Looks like all the kits have cut-outs for the warmer buttons, or am I missing something.

Ok, well now I don't feel so about about not being able to use the kit. I don't want to offend anyone, but that trim kit is just bad in my opinion. Or is it the photo? It just looks very very shiny. Almost like vinyl.

I installed a Sherwood wooddash kit but the pieces didn't fit very well, particularly around the console area. The pieces were too small leaving big gaps that showed the black console underneath. The end result looked very cheap and imprecise, so I pulled it all off. What a waste of money.
I've installed kits before and they looked very good but this one was a big disappointment.
