I think that looks sick.. Nice work so far; can't wait o see what else you do to it. Did you have your rims powder coated or did you spray them?

Truthfully, I don't know why someone gets a $30k+ car and tries to make it look like a boi racer car.

Thats because the people that purchase the car and fix them up want to be different from others. The car is a 4 door luxury SPORTS CAR there is nothing in the book that says that because of the money that was spend on the car no one can do anything to it.

But I don't understand why you want to make it look like a car a 17yr old kid would own with black stock rims and blacking out the grill.

And I wouldn't call the 7th gen a sports car 4 door luxury car is good, leave out the sports car part.

Everyone has their own style and it doesn't matter how old you are he can do what ever the hell he wants with his car just like I can with mine and you can with yours. I also agree that I am going to stick with Nissan on this one it is a Luxury Sports Car since it has the 290hp and the style of the car look like a sports car and o the stiffer suspension I have; GUESS WHAT!!! Its a stiffer sport suspension. Just cause you don't have the cash to spend on an 09-10 Max or any money for upgrades doesn't give you any privileges to come up in the 7th Gen. section runnin your mouth. If you don't like what we do to our cars then stay the FV(K out of our section.

Viper is right. OP asked for opinions. You can't get bent out of shape because you don't like the opinion.

However, I disagree with this car not being sporty. It's no 370Z, but it is the sportiest car in its class. Much better than a Honda or Toyota. Most of the cars in the 7gen class do not have a standard option either. If you drive this car hard and use the paddle shifters....pretty damm sporty for a flagship luxury sedan. But, like I said, if you really want sporty, buy a 370Z. Its cheaper.

OP, what you have done is not for my car, but I like it. It looks menacing. I would put custom 20's on it, but a $400.00 mod is eaiser to swollow than 3-4 grand.

For all who gave an opinoin, good and bad....good for you. That's what its all about. A little tact would be nice though.

viperboy - I don't have a dog in this fight, appreciate that you are simply giving your honest opinion, and even agree with many of your comments. But I do wonder why you spend your time on a board dedicated to a vehicle you obviously are not enamoured with?

Life is too short for that sort of thing. I would think you would be happier running with the crowd that likes the same vehicle you do.

This isn't "your" section. Calm down. What's wrong with you people? This is a "what do you think about my mods" thread, and you got some opinions.

Blasting away with profanity and caps lock, talking about this section of the forum liike you're a gang and this is your 'hood, challenging people to races, and just all around being an immature idiot is not the right way to handle this. IBTL.

Oh, and, a bolt-on 5.5gen is a fast car. We'll see at Maxus 2010 what kind of times a stock 7th gen runs. But headers on a 5.5 take a full second off the 1/4 mile time, and until headers and more bolt-ons become available for the 7th gen, I would expect a modded 5.5gen to be faster. I'm excited to see the 5.5 vs. 7th gen at Maxus, but not on the street. Altho 3.5 and 4.5 will always be faster

edit - wow, did not take long for mods to notice my reported post

LOL!

Ask any racer, any real racer, winning is winning. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile.

By the way, a couple of Nissan SR20's should run a premium a week before race wars.
