Nav Issue / 2009
Hey guys (and gals),
Very happy with my 2009 Premium, but noticed today that the navigation system has zoomed out further than usual by itself. Particularly on the bird's eye view, when I zoom down to the level right above building scale, it's zoomed back much further than it should be or normally is. Anybody else run into something similar?
Thanks

Same map area, my daily commute- which is what made me notice that it's abnormally zoomed out. For instance, he bird's eye will say 1/6 mile but it's clearly at least 1 mile out. I wonder if the dealer could just re-flash me or if I'd have to go thru the 3rd party software co? ..
Maybe you should pull all the fuses on the Nav. and AC controls for an hour or so. This may reset the unit. Also I remember somewhere in the manual there is a "reset all settings" function, you may wish to investigate that and try it.
Thanks- I did set the Nav back to factory settings and nothing happened.
I plan to drive into Manhattan tonight (one of the rare places which has street level view) and see what happens then.

Also can anyone tell me on birds eye view the distance which is zoomed right above the first street level view? Mine says 1/6 mile and I thought it used to say 250ft or somethign like that. Thanks
1/6 mile is the lowest distance for bird eye view. 150 feet is the lowest for plan view.
