tire widths for 20s...

Does anyone know if 295/30 20 or even 285/30 20 will fit all around? I know 275/30 20 does for sure, but I don't like any kind of stretch, I like the tire to sit flush with the rim.

Just out of curiosity why do you want a 30 series tire? I have a 245/35-20 and I don't think I'd want to go with any smaller sidewall.

It all depends on the width of the wheel and offset. Got the specs?

Well ya but you are only 245 wide, 285 wide means the sidewall will be alot wider than yours, the way it works is, the sidewall measurement is a percentage of the tread side of the tire i.e. on a 245/35 your sidewall is approx. 3.38" wide, whereas on a 285/30 the sidewall would be approx. 3.37" wide, (done using a tire size calculator)

That looks great and gives me hope But I'm not running staggered, and would really like to know if they would also fit up front. The biggest I have seen up front was a 275/30 20 and that was lowered also, but 275/30 leaves too much of a gap, the sidewall isn't quite wide enough for my taste.
