More Climate Controlled Seat Woes

Dang, just when I thought we declared success, my Climate Controlled Seat went south again whilst in the middle of a marathon 2690 mile jaunt. You really don't realize how you come to enjoy something like that AC seat until it breaks (again.) I called the Nissan dealer in Ft Smith, AR and even took it to them (even though I am QUITE sure their techs haven't serviced one before.) After a day they called and wanted to know if they could keep it longer as they had "prior comittments!!" (Isn't that why I called and "Scheduled" first???...they talk different in Arkansas I guess.)

With the holidays on us, I guess it will be late next week before I make my appt with my dealership in FL...hmmm I wonder if dry ice....

I should slap you silly...my gawd...sweat your a$$ off like the rest of us!

Where in CFL do you go to get service? I'm near Maitland, closest place near me is Bill Ray over on 1792. Not used them for service yet, so I'm curious where you go and if you'd recomend your place. Obviously they didn't get your seat right the last time...

Hey Leary, not surprised you got the crap treatment from your Nissan stealer. When you have a free minute, check out the Nissan Customer Service and recall threads on here and you'll see the other crap treatment mine and other Nissan stealers have given us Maxima drivers!

Actually, I get OUTSTANDING treatment from Nissan of Melbourne. They go above and beyond with no qualms on my part. After taking it to two other dealers in Orlando, Melbourne at least got it working for 6 months!! I really didn't expect Ft Smith Arkansas to be able to do anything about my seat as it really is a specialty in and of itself, but hey, I've neen surprised before.

MadMax07SL..I haven't used Bill Ray as when I was looking for a place to purchase my ride (even though I told them today) the sales team just wanted to play games but if you ever get to Melbourne...top notch. Universal, Reed and Courtesy are all about the same in my book...I consider them uncaring incompetents unless you are there to "pay" for something. Melbourne seems to be about the customer. I will admit it is a bit of a drive, but as I commute there from Winter Garden, pretty convienient for me.
