Has anyone thought about about making their own custom transmission cooler to there Maxima? If someone were to add a tranny cooler then they would also possibly be able to turbo there maxima without any problems.. What do you guys think of that idea?

Ya same here.. I am just wondering why no one else has attempted to do this... Seems like it should be pretty easy really all you need is a universal tranny cooler and then custom build your own turbo for it. I think that the car should hold up fine with that.

I think he meant to say 300 HP or who knows.

What is it with all of the horrible grammar on this board? Did they stop teaching proper English and writing in the Northeast?

I think something that could be done fairly easily and provide good results is to make an adapter plate and put on a Rotrex blower. it is self contained needs no oil feed and most likely in our engine configuration would make around 40-50% more hp than factory how does an extra 110-145 more hp strike you? Hell you could even go more wild and do twin rotrex like they do the skyline. Which to me is the ultimate twin supercharged and twin turbo'd yes I take it.
I have a fondness for these Rotrex blowers, they are quiet, they are high efficient up to 98%, they are small below is there biggest models the C30s, and for moderate horsepower applications they make good power, and most vehicles who install these blowers tend to see better gas mileage if they can keep there foot off the throttle :-)

tranny coolers are not model specific; just "size" specific. as all they require you to do is reroute the tranny lines going to the radiator to an aux "smaller" radiator and then back to the tranny.
i had them installed when i had my M45 and my old 94 max automatic. very worthwhile upgrade.
