So much plastic in these 7th gens. There's more to cleaning the engine bay than swiping covers with armor all.

Less plastic. More titanium.

I see a lack of a more awesome intake manifold, coupled with the lack of CVTC's for your exhaust cams.

I'm also peeping an inferior MAF sensor, and no CVT dipstick ...

Hi, Manny. Yes, well, it seems we're both slumming upstream.

Interesting thread, though. I like the guy who had his covers painted gloss red. I'm surprised there hasn't been more engine cover artwork going in with these 7th gens. The canvas is certainly large enough.

another thing I notice is on the 7TH gen , theres an ECU right next to the battery.

Not sure if its a TCM/or ECU of some sort

also I remember doing the springs for this car and notice Nissan has a 18mm bolt...

I mean usually you'll find a 18 in BMWs... out of all the Nissan Ive done in the past, I never had to pull a 18mm out.

No mods, expcept Interstate battery and extra 4 gauge ground at ECU and battery.

Felt like learning how to wetsand and paint so tried it on my engine covers. First paint job for me, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out...damn that was a lot of sanding. Used 600 grit to prep the pieces, then 1500 and 2000 for the clearcoat. Dupli-color high temp paint and clear. Link with in-progress pics below.
