Hello, I replaced my front pads and rotors o my 2012 Maxima now my traction control light comes on and stays on after each start up while driving. I need to fix ASAP. thanks on advance
It is filled just passed the max line I put on new pads and rotors on the front and got new tires installed . ...since then this light has been coming on once I'm on the highway and staying on obviously until I shut off the car and turn it back on, it comes back on. today I took the front tires off and cleaned the electrodes going to the front suspension took her for a ride and it still came on. I am very worried as to what may be wrong and going to fix myself assuming it is an "easy" fix. as a side note when the light does come on when I go from drive to sport if it no longer downshifts like it usually would if the light is off before highway speed it works as normal. I can still manually downshift it with paddles or forward and reverse action. I'm very concerned any help would be great thank you guys in advance
2010 Maxima SV Replaced the rack and pinion now the VDC& SLIP is ON. Codes popped up C1143,1144,1108,1105,1115,1103
Exchanged the Speed sensor again. Still lights on. Battery off for 10mins and Nothing. Fluids Are All Full

i have this light too on my 2012 maxima, going to check the fluid but i also remembered the car has a traction control button that can turn it on and off too possibly someone has pressed this in my car and i didnt notice. going to check both fluid and button button first but i already have a huge bottle of dot 3/4 brake fluid so theres that.
This particular issue (in the case of the rack replacement) is all about the alignment. If the alignment is off so bad that the codes are thrown for steering angle, this WILL disable vdc/traction control. I had this occur after replacing inner and outer tie rod ends on the way to get her aligned.
On another occasion, i had the light come on and disable cruise control as well. Turned out I had a taillight half full of water. I drilled a hole to let the water out until my replacement assy was received to fix the issue.
But most report that low brake fluid is the primary culprit. I had this occur too!
