I tried an 09 VW passat. The guy who owned it before was ridiculous. It was lowered and had the V6 motor and this dude put in a turbo. absolutely retarded car. the only reason I didn't get it, is it had 50k+ miles and you know they are all beat down miles. Still makes me sad 0-100 in that thing was just.... Retarded.

I was looking at

2010 Jetta TDI Cup
2012 Jetta GLI
2009/10 Lexus IS250
2008 Audi A4
2009 Nissan Altima 3.5

The Jettas were too small. Plus no one had a new GLI for me to even test drive at the time. The lexus and the audi i thought were too small as well. They didnt seem any more roomier than my sentra. The altima 3.5 was nice but it didnt have leather and the only other 3.5 in the area for sale was sold by the time i went to go look at it. I had test drove a few other 7th gens, some where beat up, some didnt have leather...but then i found mine with the SV Sport package in white and i was like I NEED THIS..

Just traded in our 2010 Acura TL-SH-AWD for the 2012 Max. TL was nice but Maxima is nicer and more sporty and comfortable. This is our 3rd Maxima.

The maxima is more sporty than a TL shawd? Due to the nature of the beast I agree on the comfort, but more sporty?

Yes for sure. TL was more bulky and not as nimble as the Max. Even you G37 is sportier than the TL imo.

I drove an AWD TL and to me it was way more sporty than the Max. Suspension was very stiff. Almost too stiff for a daily driver.

That's the characteristics of all AWD cars. TL's,Audi's,MB 4Matics. They all have a heavier steering feel. It doesn't bother me but it does bother a lot of people and is really a personal thing.

Tomorrow I'm buying an '11 Maxima SV premium w/navi. Super excited. Took several months before making my decision. The two other contenders were a '13 Altima SL, or a Dodge Charger w/Hemi.

Decided I didn't want to buy an Altima because there are just too many of 'em out there, and I wanted to step up. The Charger was a lot of fun to put the pedal to the floor, but just didn't have the same feel as the Maxima's cockpit.

Coming from an old beaten down Civic, I am READY FOR MY MAXIMA!!
