Tire sidewall damage, what to do?

Hey guys, I happened to damage my front left tire today, took a short turn and hit a curb (Yes I know im an idiot). I dont know if I should s the replace my tires or maybe I can have them repaired. As far as the damage goes, It looks like it took off a nice quarter inch ***** of the sidewall by the rims. I even scraped my wheels a bit, the piece that was taken off is still hanging and I tugged on it, it doesn't feel like it wants to come off. Is there a way I can fix this or do I have to buy a new tire?

You can't repair any sidewall damage. Check if the chords are showing. You should be fine if no chords showing and no air loss.

can't be repaired....how big of a chunk are you missing? if it's not too big i'm sure it'll be fine until you buy a new tire...

How good are your car handling skills? Can you confidently handle a blow-out in traffic at 75 mph? 65 mph? 55 mph? Are you willing to risk your car, your life, other peoples lives? Can you afford a negligence law suit?

As astigracing says, you cannot repair sidewall damage ... replace the damaged tires, achieve inner harmony, and sleep at night!
