our new cars!!!
well, i finally got my stinkin 15 posts so i can start a thread.....anyway.... a couple weeks ago the wife and i went looking for a car for me to trade in my Mazdaspeed3 in for... i was looking for something cheaper and better on gas mileage. but i kept going back to the Maxima. well my wife kept looking at the 370z. she had a saturn sky with very low miles. long story short, we got offered deals that we couldn't pass up, and we both drove out with what we wanted.... she got a 2010 black cherry 370z with sport package...and i got a 2010 crimson black maxima sv sport/tech...here are a couple shots of the night we were at the dealer, and a couple of them in the garage....also, since i've taken these pictures, i've debadged the rear of the maxima completely....

While we are waiting for bluelion's reply, I will say he probably saved at least five thousand bucks by getting the 2010 370Z and Maxima Sport instead of the 2011. He probably saved at least three thousand on the Maxima alone, since the 2011 Maxima Sport had exterior changes. Dealers are trying to quickly clear their lots of leftover 2010s at whatever price they can get.

Congrats bluelion on grabbing two great cars.

Of course that is partly because the Crimson Black is a new color for 2010. It was never available on the '09s. And I think Nissan was a little uncertain about the Crimson Black, as most dealers only got one 2010 Maxima of that color the first month the 2010s came out. Many smaller dealers got no Crimson Blacks until they specifically ordered them from Nissan.

Maybe but in my driving route to work - I know I see at least 3 Crimson Black in that color. In fact, now that I know what it really looks like outdoors, I notice it more - I think at first I thought it was black. But a closer look at it says otherwise (Like Ocean Gray)

yeah, i still check out that forum...it was time to upgrade.
7sp auto, the times i've driven the Z, it's weird to see it shift into 7th gear when i'm in sport mode...
