Driver's Side Seat Vent/Heater Issue

Hey guys,
I've been too busy to get to my dealer, but recently the engine for my seat vent & heater seems to be crapping out. When I turn the **** to cool or heat, the light on the **** goes on and the blower runs for about 30 seconds before shutting down completely. The **** light also goes off. I'm going to try to change out the fuse but I'm wondering if anyone else has heard of or experienced this..

Thx

There have been a few threads on this, but basically, this issue is with a "temperature sensor" in the seat back, or in the "amp" (controller) under the seat (not a fuse.) It thinks your seat is getting too hot (mine read (on their diagnostic screens) as being over 1000.(although obviously not as this would cause almost instantaneous fire.) This causes the system to shut itself off after about 30 secs.) I've had both replaced a few times and (unfortunately for me) the longest I've been able to "keep it running" is about 6 months. MOST, however, have had no issues at all with their climate controlled seats.

That is helpful- I'll suggest they take a look when I bring it in. Oddly, the heater stays on but the vent shuts down quickly.
