Eibach Pro Kit - ride quality reviews
Damn guys you got me nervous about installing these Eibachs, i just brought some Vossen 83 20x9 in the front and 20x10.5 in the rear with a 275x30.20 in the rear and I'm about to lower this ride and you guys are talking about the 19's are having issues i might just say hell with the install. I don't have rear passengers so I'm not worried about the added weight but I'm kinda concern the the rear tire might hit the finder because its a little wide. need everyone input should i get this done or not?

I have the Eibach Pro Kit on my 2000 Maxima with 20" wheels and 245/30/20 tires. I personally like it alot. My ride quality is nothing less than AWESOME! My input towards the kit -> is to be sure to trim the bumpstops and to get wheel alignment.
I always replace my customers outer tie rod ends before sending it out for alignment as for newer car or not they are still wear items. Might as well get the best bang for the bucks. Over worn tie rod ends it will increase front end stability which is great in wet weather as for the tires will not be wobbling left to right eratically as you are driving on top of water. Decreasing hydroplaning chances. 20" tires usually lack wet traction.

I was so glad when I got my springs on that I couldn't wait to drive my car, now whenever I'm rollin everybody is catching whiplash looking at my whip.
I love to break necks sitting on them Eibachs.
Yes it is a necessity (that or some coilovers), I just looked at my car's stock pics (when I first bought it) and that wheelgap was humongous and looked hideous.

I drool everytime I see a 7 gen on eibachs, I want to plasti dp my stock wheels but with that wheel gap its gonna look akward. The eibach Pro Kit is the most important mod for this car lol, Improves handling by alot from what I hear, and brings out that stance that belongs on this car.
I just recently had my Eibachs installed, so only about 100 miles on them so far. But I think the anyone would be hard pressed to tell the difference from stock in everyday driving manners. They feel great, not harsh at all. However having them installed really makes the need for new wheels or spacers much more apparent.
Thankfully my Forgestar F14's are due to show up early next week.

yes because the maxima a35 is such a powerful design even in stock form, something as little as a mild drop and some nice fitting wheels can really make this car break necks.
nice fitting wheels is key and will be make it or break it. Standard front wheel drive offsets for this car is a deal breaker.

I just got my Ichiba spacers in today, 20 mm for front 25 mm for rear to go with my stock 19's and Eibach springs...ill take some before/after pics so people can see the difference of tucked/nearly flush. hopefully i dont have to roll my fenders but ill do it if needs be. paintin the calipers black at the same time so this should improve the look of my wheel area a bit
for anyone curious, check out the before/afters of spacers with stock rims in this thread here - http://forums.maxima.org/7th-generat...pacers-v2.html
Heres's an updated pic of the Eibach's on stock 19's.

Hello!
I'm new to the forum. I just took delivery of my 2011 Nissan Maxima SV-Sport and I have the springs on order. I just got out of a 2011 BMW M3 Coupe (still crying) because I have a baby on the way. I've owned mostly sports cars over the last 12 years and I've owned 3 BMW M3's, so I'm guessing I won't feel that the ride is harsh.

I recently went from an SV non-sport to a sport package car and added the Eibachs within 1000 miles on the car. I feel the Eibachs ride even better since the original dealer left the tire pressure at 45PSI! I lowered it to 35, which is 2 PSI over the recommended on these cars and the vehicle actually rides smoother than without the springs because of the overinflated tires.
I love the ride but am not a big fan of a soft riding to begin with. These are supposed to be sports cars and I think the Eibachs just add what a sport package is lacking from factory. If you are truly looking for a four door sports car then the ride that Eibachs provide shouldn't be an issue at all.
Well worth the 250 bucks I think.

Hey man, BTW, how much are those wheels spaced? I love the look and want to do something similar but I'm not sure how far to go. You've got that thing sitting just right. Ever have any issues with bumping the fenders?

Coils are the way to go for adjustability. But the eibach pros aren't a bad choice, especially for you 7th gens with new suspensions components. I went with coils because no need to put aftermarket springs on my old shocks and I would have spent close to my coilover price, if I bought some new shocks.
