Might I ask why is this such a big deal, do you live next to an autobahn on-ramp in Germany?

taking off 1-2 seconds would put me around 0-60 in 4 seconds thats not what im lookin for everyone is blowing this post out of control im just wondering as to what performance mods besides bolt on they make for this car.. and yes it is a lease but everything that goes in can come out and if i dont buy the car out i will take it all out and make it stock again and yes i have a camaro in the drive way but y not have 2 fast cars lol

50% for the rest of your life I have had a lease payment since 96 thats not cool the sunglasses cover the shame, I currently have a car payment that is not ending anytime soon.

Wish I could say I like new cars but they are not worth a monthly rent payment based on how popular the car is

At this point I realize how much I could have saved and invested

a lease is pretty much the same thing as buying a car you rent the car out for about 3 years and at the end of the car lease they give u a buy out value if you want to buy the car out they take ur payments and down payment and suptract it from the cost of the car and thats what you pay of course there are a few % thrown in there for using there car but you also get warrenty whats not cool is when your driving a car you bought and the engine blows and if you dont have a warrenty you gotta shell the money out with a lease something happenes they fix it. example i busted a tie rod on my leased charger and it needed a new gear box dodge took it and fixed it if i bought the car and the warrenty was run out.. all out of pocket that would have been

Unfortunately the aftermarket for the 7th Gen is still pretty small, save for a few companies like Stillen and Racingline. Bolt-ons are really the only mods we have for now. Since you've got a lease, major mods are out of the question for obvious reasons. If you're looking for a 5 second flat car to 60, give a used first gen CTS-V a good look. Now that thing with bolt-ons is a serious monster.

When I got this car I wasnt looking for something that was gonna destroy the asphalt, but it would be nice to get a few extra ponies out of this engine. You could do an UPRev tune but thats like 700 bucks right there that you prob wont be able to save face on after your lease is up.

Yea I completely understand. Getting the power to 300 would be goo enough for me. If you want some good power gains get the R2C intake, Ive heard nothing but great things about it, plus it sounds amazing when you get on it.

Meh... I had the Charger 3.5 as a rental a while back. It wasn't a very well balanced car. It was decent in a straight line, but the handling was simply atrocious. It was like riding a stick of butter down the highway. I thought my old 2000 Maxima SE was vastly superior.

Besides, IMHO it's worthless to chase 0-60 numbers. There will always be someone faster than you. On public roads you are limited by the speed limit. So off the track, I think it's actually more fun to drive a slower, but well-rounded car fast! My favorite rental to date (BY FAR) was a base-model Lancer. It was slow, but such a fun car to drive!

Bolt ons are pretty much your only option if your car is leased.

Dont do any forced induction due to the cost and hassle of having to remove it when your lease is up.

I'm sure intake, exhaust and some new tires should gain a few tenths off your 60MPH time.
