Blackberry Stereo Gateway - add Bluetooth Audio to your 09!

Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but depending on what type of phone you have it may work perfectly for you and it may not work at all.

Situation is this : Bluetooth on the 09 Maxima is great - except it doesn't do audio!

Check out the solution to your problems (phone dependant) : http://www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-Rem.../dp/B00170KUM0

It's simple - it hides in the center console and plugs into the RCA connections in the middle. Pair your phone with it and you're done! Depending on what type of phone you have this may or may not work easily for you. Looks like some Blackberry's and Droids automatically pair with your car when your phone rings, and switch back to the stereo gateway when you hang up.

For me I just use my phone on Speakerphone instead of the bluetooth connection because I couldn't get it to work consistently. Nice though because I prefer having bluetooth audio streaming more. I'm sure a few people will think this idea is stupid, but for us 09 owners it might be exactly what you wanted.

This is so pointless, LOL JK. This is actually a great find, alot of people have been complaining about the lack of BT audio in the 09 Maximas. This could be a solution, I caqn honestly say that Bluetooth audio gives a very clear and crisp sound, and I prefer it to the Music Box or Radio. Good info over her Dan.

After using it for a few more weeks I have to say this solution is freaking awesome. My Droid is paired with both my Car and the Blackberry Gateway at the same time, there is no switching or going back and forth it simply does phone audio to the car and media audio to the Blackberry Gateway. Get a high quality RCA>1/8" cable to go from the Gateway to your car, and you are done. I now have bluetooth streaming in my 09 Maxima and it only cost me ~$40. I am loving not having to plug it in every time. When I get the remote start this will be nice to be able start the car and change the music while standing outside of it.

Bottom line, if you want bluetooth audio in your 09 Maxima go get this! You will love it and the quality is very nice! I used to be an audio engineer and audio quality is important to me, this sounds great!!

I had a 2002 Altima before my Maxima and used this as a solution to connect my Blackberry via bluetooth. It worked flawlessly 100% of the times for music, it was great. The only think I didnt like about it was that I was not able to use it for phone calls (but thats not an issue with the 09's).
