I was thinking that I had never seen any current gen Maxima commercials, but I do remember this one now that you showed it. I think I only saw it a few times though on TV.

The latest ad I have been seeing is where the Dad finds out his wife is pregnant again, and this time it is twins. He goes out to the driveway and stretches his 7th gen Maxima into the newly redesigned Quest Nissan is introducing this year.

My wife likes the ad. Me, not so much.

That's interesting! I'm guessing the newly designed Quest shares the same platform as the Max.

I would guess the new Q uses the Altima version of the platform. The Maxima version replaces some Altima chassi/suspension components with parts from the Infiniti 'M.'

But we should find out for sure when the new Q is released.
