Filter under drivers seat?

Folks - attempted to do a search on this, and I believe I saw it in the manual, is there a filter under the drivers seat for the heated seat and the air conditioned seat? I know I hear a fan that runs when the cold option is on...if there is one, how do you replace it? Thanks.

Yes there is a filter. At this point the only way to replace it is to remove the seat. I am curious if anyone has had it done yet.

They "say" they did it last time I had the climate controlled seat repaired, but I didn't see it for myself. It is going back in on Tuesday to get the seat repaired yet again, so I'll see if I can take a look over their shoulder and get a look.

I think insurance companies do not allow anyone but technicians in automobile dealership service bays.

As for the sensors, for that kind on money, you could have driven to Canada and sat in a snowbank. That will cool your butt. Of course, with your employment being in Equitorial Florida, your options are limited.

I just get back from Rochester, NY but didn't take my Max. Did, however end up flat on my rear just outside of the hotel (something about walking while chewing gum!!)

And while undoubtedly correct re our litigious society, I can usually use my good ol' boy personality to usually find a "reason" to get something out of my car!!! I just had to attend to some "conferences" at the office and didn't have the opportunity to chat with the tech.
