Hey just wanted to know if anybody has purchased a roof wing from anywhere beside Stillen. I found this one on ebay but dont know if I should just stick with what everyone already has. Thanks!

was the seller like bmwoemshop by chance? just wondering if there is any real diffence its so much cheaper tho so I want to know if i should just pull the trigger. Can u snap some pics when u get a chance?

 

I bought mine off Ebay from a seller in Taiwan. It looks great but the adhesive tape didn't stick on the ends when it got cold out. I am going to have to have it redone when it gets warm out.

 

is the roof wing just a cosmetic thing or does it do anything?

 

i doubt it does any thing im sure its cosmetic

 

It adds 200 lbs of downforce when traveling above 120mph. Na not really its just cosmetic.

Got mine cpl days ago...order it fr shadowspeed(Taiwan) on ebay..about $100...I order black with pearl...I must say and awesome color..waiting on the summer to put it on.

Thanks! Yeah I couldn't justify the price of the Stillen one + having it painted but the one from eBay comes pre-painted and looks great.

Oh and as others have mentioned, it adds ~25 horsepower when in Ds mode.

I just ordered mine on Ebay from mustang.vitality for $44 and $28 for shipping/handling.

 

Yesterday, I sent messages to both Shadow and Happy and neither one has respondend. Neither one of their listings show a white spoiler being available. Is it me or is that odd?

you can get the color code of your paint off of your car. open the drivers side door and look for a sticker on the car that is in the trim where the door meets the car, it will have a color code - for example my radiant silver is K12. when I found the spoiler from the eBay seller BMWOEMSHOP available I just provided my color code and it came perfectly matched. i highly recommend them!

 

I heard back from Shadow. He doesnt have white. None of the listings I saw for Happy included white as one of the options. I'll check again and try messaging him again. Thanks.

Just got my spoiler last night. The paint job looks nice. i havent had a chance to compare the spoiler to the car yet but it looks dead on. They were able to match my color code k50. They were really good about replying to my emails.

 

I'll be getting my K50 painted wing tomorrow, damn im impatient!!!

did your spoiler come curved or straight? im waiting to put mine on but i may be a set of hands to help hold it down since the one i got is straight.

But seriously, I stood (w/o shoes) on my back seat corner and was able to start at each edge, bend the wing, and lay it down rather easily

I have some low resolution iphone pics i can send if anyone wants to post them. the paint job is nice but the wing is really floppy. i guess thats why its so cheap.
