Hey group,

Being 'that guy' who tends to never leave his toys alone, and now in a 7th gen... I am curious to know who all owns 7th gen's, have this nasty moding habit that I have. (in a good way obviously lol) I've said to myself that I would never go through the 8 years of moding again on my next car, but these car's have so much potential for clean and class.

Im really liking what I'm seeing so far, when people post up pics, but I'm really interested in the diversity and potential we have with the group. Everyone has their own tastes in mods, but how far have you gone with your car projects?

Post up your past or current car projects to show how strong this new community can be!

The mod list is too lengthy, so heres a generic list:

2000 Chevrolet Cavalier z24 Supercharged
04' Mazda 6 headlight conversion
JVC Mobile Canada demo car
BASF Satin silver, carbon black matte, 50% satin clear
Vince Goodeve Airbrush art work
Baby Doll performance interior fabric

All of the conversion/body work, interior fiberglass, concept, audio install, engine work, HP tune were all done in a garage with only 2ft of room in and around the car by myself.

Total build time.. progressive due to budget was 8 years.

Oh yea, and here's my sons project he did all by himself....

 

Here is my 2004 Chevy Colorado ZQ8. I bought it brand new in 2004 and it has been an on-going project. I've put a lot of time into it and still have a few more mods planned. I only drive it in the summer.
Current Mods include:
- Complete repaint to Bentley Silver Tempest Metallic
- Custom color matched vertical grille
- BellTech coilovers + 3" blocks
- Clarion MAX685BT headunit
- Suede headliner
- Welded/smooth steel roll pan
- 22" DUB Cream wheels on Pirelli P-Zero tires 245/30/22
- rear bench conversion to buckets
- low profile transmission cross member
- Street Scene side mirrors
- black LED tail lights

Mods I'm doing this summer:
- Cnotched frame (already have the kit)
- Projector headlights with painted to match housings (already have the lights)

 

Can you explain what you did with the gauge cluster, looks trippy man! This is the cleanest Cav I've ever seen. I was just joking with my wife about never seeing a cav in decent shape. lol

this was one of my last, major VIP project, sold few years ago. I'm getting tempted to do the max in a subtle fashion but getting too old to deal with the issues associated with it.

So far 3 Chevys, 1 Mercedes and 1 Mitsubishi. There has to be other members who have other past/current projects. I was gonna post my Mazda Millenia S but I might just be giving up on that project so I decided not to, lol. Anyone on here know about the infamous Miller Cycle engine?

Here has been my pet project this past winter. 1995 Suzuki GS500E

The pic is completely stock prior to me working on her... What I've done so far: Katana rear shock swap, blacked out wheels, 2001+ taillight conversion, fenderectomy, decal removal and tail fairing repaint, gsx-r pegs. Mostly cosmetic stuff. Will see if I got a newer pic of her laying around, she looks much better now!

 

Is a Garmin GPS fiberglassed into the cluster. All of the OEM warning lights and signal lights are functional. The gauges are cyberdyne coolant and fuel.

Will, you weren't kiddn about having a clean truck man... looks so Clean!!!

Dude the amps in the back of that Explorer are massive!!! Damn it looks like its gonna fall apart in the 2nd video...CRAZY bass!! Car audio is a fun hobby. I used to be into it back in high school but I grew out of extreme bass. Regardless I enjoy checking out crazy audio/video projects.
