First Oil Change?

No where near there just curious when I should do my first oil change. Not sure if our cars come with Synthetic Oil or regular. Its a lease so I am trying to minimize the oil changes lolol.

Just follow the owners manual and you'll be fine. I think it's 3750 for adverse conditions and 7500 for normal use.

I would take it to the dealership...They should give you the first one for free. 3750 is recommended for oil changes. I would rotate your tires every 5k or every two oil changes if you want to wait a little longer. Just a suggestion.

Not trying to sound rude, but this is the main reason I would avoid buying a previously leased car!

Look in your owners manual for intervals. Most likely you will be following the 3750 mile, you can use regular oil, to save money.

The oil change shouldn't cost you more than $25. Between changes at a 3750 mile interval, you'll spend over $600 on gas. Surely you can afford to service the car on time.

Lolol none taken, that's the same exact reason as to why I lease lolol. I'm gonna be using Synthetic anyway. Just wanted to know if I should wait till 5000 cuz I thought they put Syn in it. Guess not.

Wow dude seriously, in reality no one changes their oil like car enthusiast, cars in general are the last thing on most peoples minds, a few friends of mine who owed shops, their own customers double and triple the mileage on oil changes, and then they ***** how the car is a pos, cause it stalls, knocks, burns oil, etc...

Just consider yourself fortunate that you can afford new

25 bucks for an oil change, a normal oil change at the dealer runs 35-50 with tax

That is very true. Car guys like us usually take great car of their cars. I forget that its different with other people I have a buddy that beats his cars like crazy, doesn't wash/wax them and just is very very hard on them, then he does the same thing, he complains about what a pos it is. I just ask him if it was a pos before he got it or not its funny.

eLMO. Thanks for not taking what i said as bad, or offensive. Im sure you will do right by your car

I have worked hard for our car, and saved a lot of money to do so. So I figure I best take care of it. Why spend all that money to not take care of it

My dealer runs a constant special for an oil change, rotation, inspection, and balancing for something like $50. The change alone is $25 with a coupon they send me in the mail.

I do the same thing at my local firestone. Great bunch of guys there. and i can get full synthetic, tire rotated and balanced for $37 after taxes. I use my card with them, and then if you fill out the survey you get another 10 or 15 off, which makes it 37 bucks. That works great for me! Now the last tank of gas... that is another story. It was well over 50 bucks to fill her up last time, and i don't see it getting better anytime soon.

Got mine done for free at the dealership. It was a customer appreciation thing I guess. Got a great deal on the maxi though, 0% financing!
