Spings / Allignement question

I am planning to install Ebach springs mid April with Stillen Strut and Stillen sway bar at the same time. Should i be doing alignment right away or wait 2weeks - 1 month and let the springs settle in?

Once the alignment is done and i decide to put on 19'', 20'' inch summer rims, will i need to do alignment again?

All input is much appreciated.
Thanks.

you let the springs settle first, for about 2-3 weeks...then you align.

you don't align immediately haha

I would align at both times your camber and toe is going to be way off...

Unless of course you put AMG wheels on it. Then it's aligned FORRRRR-EVVVVVV-ERRRRR....

It also depends on how much you drive. If you put 1000 miles on ur car in 2 weeks with improper camber or toe ur asking for uneven wearing tires down the road.

I know what I'll do when the time comes... U can do whatever u want....

so what are the benefits of doing the alignment 2-3 weeks after the install?

After i installed mine...i figured i would drive for about 20-30 miles to get the springs settled...man what a scary thing it was...the alignment was so off...my car felt like it wanted to go side ways everytime i hit a bump or anything that would cycle the springs. I flew back to the shop and said lets do one today and realign in a month. When the shop did it the 1st time it was insanly off. The second time was just a little bit but at least my car drove straight and not all over the place. Plus dont forget you'll destroy your tires without the alignment.

The springs WILL eventually settle... Probably not enough to mess up your camber but it is possible... Just do what feels right when you drive it. You will know.

They are definitely off, you'll start feeling the road more and hearing more road noise as time goes on. Something so inexpensive should be done to keep the longevity of your low pro's man!

errrr! align it right away right after u put your springs on!!! on no, well no, it depends on how many miles u drive...oh wait, ya align it right away and align it in 1000 miles, then alight it again after you wash the car because it will affect the alignment....dood shut the heell up.

wait till my project is done, your gonna eat your words.

K dudeeeeee....

What I said to make it EASIER for BBmaxipad to understand is...What I would do is align it right away AND then if in a 1000miles or a month or so it feels off then have it aligned again... OR you can wait a take your chances. I error on the side of caution with a procedure that cost .25% of the cost of the car. But you do what you want, it's your car.

but on a side note I cant wait to see your car BBmaxi! it'll be SWEET!

I am in the same boat I was looking at the Eibach Pro Alignment Kit (Footnotes: Camber Bolts 14mm. Front - Camber +/-1.75 Degrees Of Adjustment.)

What will be the benefits of purchasing it and installing along with the springs vs not installing? Will i actually benefit from this kit?

Thanks for the info guys.

people are jumping back & forth here but the fact is that an alignment is 'recommended' after performing suspension work. that doesnt mean you have to do it right away but it is recommended. I would have it done right away if I was you. I will be having mine done before it leaves the shop next week.

I would purchase it and take it with you incase... If they don't end up needing it... Return it. That way your covered and don't waste your time.

I did all three (Eibach lowering kit, Stillen sway bar, Racingline Strut bar) around the same time, waited a few weeks and took it in for an alignment - they said I didn't need it and the camber was fine. From people who could have said "yes go ahead do it" and taken my money anyway that says a lot.

Anyone else running these mods without an alignment afterwards?
