I totally get what ur saying and I can imagine it do u know what offset I would need to sit flush on 20s?

Plus I got a call from JM and he said that he made a mistake and that he cant find REAR camber bolts for a 7th gen anywhere, only fronts I was going to order the spacers today but will hold off

20x8.5 (+30 to +35) and 20x9.5 (+30 to +35) will set u off nicely.

also if u go 20x9 and 20x10, raise offsets to about 5mm.

I think u can go as low as +20 with a 8.5 and 9.5 set up, and I'm almost positive it will work with only a rear quarter roll....but I haven't see it so I can't say for certain.

that's why the benz and bmw works so well with the a35, the standard fitments are the aggressive fitments for the a35 maxima.

your rear shocks / springs are one piece ?

because my coilover kit (NOT FROM D2) is setup as the original suspension was, it seems that D2/K-sport thinks they know better then nissan how to layout suspension.

it does look good though i was wondering how my car looks with the stock 19's which i have sitting in basement, not i know not to put them on -=x

Thanks blue_magicSE. I wont be selling my 19's when I get 20's but thanx for the offer. I'm trying to plan a meet in the Hwy 400 & Hwy 7 area for May 7th or 8th. There is a thread in the Canada section on here. Hope you can make it out.

Just following up about the rear camber kit you mentioned. Is that something you ended up requiring for proper alignment after install?
Is this also something that D2 should include with this coilover package
or at least mention as a possible requirement to obtain proper alignment?
How much extra did it cost you?
Other than that was the installation fairly problem free?

Sorry lots of questions I know......but your the man to ask!

another beauty of the a35, it can take in some low offset wheels.

those of you playing with off the shelf, non staggered wheels are totally wasting potential of the maxima a35

I wasnt able to find a rear camber kit so I've been running it as is & had no problems. in regards to the alignment, the toe is within spec so the car runs straight. I have put about 1,500kms on since the drop and havent noticed any significant wear on the inner edge of the rear tires yet. I suppose if I was putting on a few hundred kms/miles a day it would be different. in regards to the instal, it was straight forward with no major issues.

d2 and ksport are setup with the shock and strut all in one in the rear. BC and Megan have a shock and the spring separate, just like the stock setup.
d2 or ksport

BC or Megan

So that mean ksport n d2 are best? Since they know how to layout the suspension.

question... i installed the d2 on my 2011 max... but am i suppose to remove the old springs in the rear and leave nothing since on the 2011 the strut and spring are independent in the rear? or do i leave both on?

agree 100% , altho im not a fan of dropping the stance of a car, ive always had nothing but issues in the past and personally wouldnt waste my $ coilovers etc...one thing ive learned thru many cars- there a money pit..i only do Rims/tires now...

take out the old spring, since its a strut/spring combo it replaces the old spring.

That maxima looks great on coilovers. I had tein coilovers on my civic si. that car was slammed. I would like to go cheap and get springs only, but with my experience only doing springs will blow out your shocks eventually. Coilovers are the best. I am not sure if i want to kick out $1,000 for coils.

On the forums in the rims mega thread. If I see you on the road I might crash I get easily distracted if I see a sexy Maxima on the road. And thanks for the info. Saving up for a lip and I need a place I can trust to give me the correct matching color. I have to see your Maxima one day. It's probably more stunning in person.
