How many versions are there of the 19" wheels?

Maybe it's just me, but is there more than one finish of the 19" wheels? I have a 2010 with sports package and it seems to me that my finish of wheels is slightly different than some of the other 19" sports package wheels. Am I crazy? Don't answer that. A better question would be, has anyone else noticed this or know any information.

I've seen some references to gun metal on the 2011 models, but on the Nissan website I only find a reference to hyper silver for the 2011. I dont find any info on Nissan's website about the 2010 model.

The thing is, those are the 2011 version, my car is 2010 built in Novemeber of 2009 so would they have had the 2011 version of 19" wheels in Novemebr 2009?

I believe they changed to hyper silver for the 2010 model year +, I wish mine were hyper silver. I might powder coat them anyways

I wonder if someone has to replace an 09 19" sport rim, how hard or easy it would be to find the aluminum color through a Nissan dealer.

To the original question, I got thrown too, most people call it gun metal, but nissan coined the color hyper silver, at least they call the infiniti rims of the same color the same name

White09maxima nailed it. Nissan definitely did change the finish of the 19" wheels from aluminum-alloy to hyper-silver for the 2010 and later models.

I guess that explains it. I'm thinking at some point I thought I saw some 2010 models with the aluminum alloy finish, I could be mistaken though.
