California Duster. It worked better than I thought it would. Must get to keep your Max looking tip top.

I just got one last week myself. The wooden handle broke cause I shook it too hard I guess, but I fixed it and added a dowel on the back to make it stronger. Whatever, I didn't buy it for the handle.

The red mop part works great! Doesn't do anything for watermarks but pollen/light road dust/grime definitely comes right off! I'm easily going to save myself from many many car washes with this; best $25 spent in recent memory.

$25? it's $10 at Wal-Mart.

One with the plastic handle? Probably should have gotten that one after seeing how easily the wood one broke. I got the 2 piece kit that came with the mini one for inside too

Will it cause any swirls on the paint?

great investment but it gets old fast, I find it rains to frequent so Im more or less spray detailing the car to get rid of water marks but, I use mine when waxing the car, great tool to dust the car off with, especially here in GA, you turn around and pollen is coating the car.

no swirl marks, it works best if you just drag it over the car

yeah they recommend to lightly drag it over the car. as you said you'll come out at lunch time and your car is coated in a light green sheet of pollen. this works great to make it all shine again.

best part is, if you keep your car waxed, the duster and car feel like 2 magnets repelling each other, it glides that effortlessly

Hell yeah. I can't tell the difference between when I'm wiping it over my windows or over the paint - slides effortlessly like it's all glass. The little one I got for the interior is pretty bad *** too, great for giving everything a quick dust-off and it picks the dust up instead of just moving it around.

Nice thing is the manufacturer's are sending me another one, since my wooden handle broke. If you get the wooden one just make sure when you shake it out you hold it in the middle (as they advised).

Don't drop it on the ground and careful where you store it or you'll be dragging tiny rocks all over your paint.

Mine is stored in the black case it came with, and ya very careful about not letting the mop touch the ground.

Be careful with these they will cause light scratches in your clear over time. Its inevitable when you have a fine layer of dirt and dust that settles on the paint. The brushing motion actually creates micro scratches in the clear that add up over time.

Only if you push hard will you scratch the paint, just be gentle. And yeah if its been awhile since a car wash probably not the best idea, just gotta use your brain. Not sure how this thing would cause swirling, since you're dragging it from side to side. That sounds more like damage from a buffer that you're using at the same time.

edit: just spoke with a few who've used these for years and they said yes if you don't regularly wash/wax your car these can damage the clearcoat and are not to be used INSTEAD of washing. but if you keep it regularly washed free of debris and waxxed it will glide over the car effortlessly and not scratch. basically don't forget that it's just a "duster" and not a cleaner

Nope. I'm on my second one - first lasted about ten years. Tried washing it - but the results weren't great.

The three colors I've used on were charcoal, majestic blue and crimson black.

Absolutely no worse marring than your typical microfiber towel.

Note - as above - the use of an anti static QD spray really makes it glide.

I've actually heard that it gets better the dirtier it gets. Not sure how but if you dig through reviews on Amazon a bunch of people have used theirs for years with never cleaning it.

That's true - to a point.

It eventually gets to a point where the fibers just won't hold any more dirt. That's when I tried to wash it - but it didn't wotk so well for me.
