Very nice, I have read on Acurazine, many people getting good deals on TL's, the TL is on my list of cars I could consider, but a 2012 TL would make my car payment go up, I do wish that bronze color they had was available with a black interior, the TL interior is super sweet

I never entirely like my car, what does it for me is that I like it more then I don't, I liked the previous 3rd Gen TL, especially the 07/08 TLS, but when Acura redesigned it, they took it in a completely different direction, most people don't like that, but whatever, for me once I saw a few nicely modded TL's I was a fan, and when I see them in the rearview I always admire them, but what Im really looking for is that Police Crown Vic or Dodge Charger, hidden in the traffic behind me

The TL and RL are both very refined cars. It feels like driving a Caddy but without the old school V8 power. Very comfy and lots of nice interior goodies. The Maxima feels more like a refined sports car with an amazing engine. Just can't justify the $$$ for the Acura.

TL has a Tooth

Well the TL's tooth grill was toned down but I feel Acura, well, Honda, went too far with the whole design. They were hell bent on the corporate tooth theme and folks just said whoaa there. I'll go some where else.
Not surprised here are deals out there

Yeah, I was on a highway once going at it with the Vtec TL lol! Let me tell you something that car is slow! To be honest I used to own a 04 TL and it was faster than this new 3.5 one! I would like to see the SH-AWD race a max! Maybe that one will keep up...

Actually bought my 2010 max from an Acura dealer. It was traded in by the wife of one of the managers/owners. I heard she bought the Max because she didn't like the look of the new Acura's. Her old man had to pay her off to dump her Max because too any people were asking questions on why she wasn't driving one of his Acuras.
At least two salesmen mentioned to me the Max's styling looked better to them than the new Acuras sitting on the lot.
I agreed, bought it for a great price, and never looked back.

If the TL looked as good as the Max, along with the already nice interior and quality, it would be one heck of a car.

Acura took the design in the wrong direction, they just needed to work with what they had and improve the previous gen Acura TL, the 3rd Gen TL is perfect, just needed to improve it, especially the 07-08 TLS.

But Acura Dealers suck, they act like they are selling German cars, it does not bother me that sales of Honda and Acura are dwindling monthly and yearly, its karma, finally all the customers they screwed got tired and bought something else.

We currently have a 2010 TL SH-AWD that we bought back in Nov. 09. Have owned a 92 & still own an 03 Max. Love those cars. When we were shopping for the new car we also drove a 2010 Maxima SV.
Just did not like the way it drove and actually felt like the 03 was way faster all around. So drove the TL. After almost 2 years of ownership and 17,000 miles, my wife does not like the TL at all. She thinks it's way too big and way too uncomfortable.
She hates leather interior because it is too stiff on her back.
So what I think we're going to do is buy her a 2012 Maxima S with the Premium Package and then I will give my daughter my 97 4Runner and drive the TL for a year or two and then trade it if for a new 4Runner.

I drove the Acura TL at a Drive GM event that GM sponsored earlier this year. I gotta say the TL was by far the best car to drive at that event, compared to the Cadillacs, Lexus, and other vehicles at the event.

That said, I hate the styling of the TL, plus it's more expensive than the Maxima. I love my Maxima - it has the space I need, looks so sweet, plus it drives awesome for a sedan.

For true sport driving, I do have my Acura NSX to use...

TL...polished vomit!

Has all thebells and whistles a person could ask for, but wrapped in a package attractive as gremlin from the 70's!

The new TL has a similar design to the 04 to 08 Max, very bloated looking and from various side angles they look alike.

I guess is just a matter of opinion. But from my eyes these 2 cars look more related than any other 2 cars

The tl does have the big a** rear bumper just like max but thats about it, IMO the car actually has potential style wise from the exterior, especially after you swap out that damm beak. The interior on the other hand lacks a touch of class, more trying than doing.
The 04-08 max on the other hand was ok till i saw that awful saturn, couldnt wash the pain away after that. The new max is actually sexy with muscular fenders, if only nissan could figure out how to put more sport in the so called sport model. A bump in power and more aggresive steering and handling would be nice. Thats my 2 cents anyway. 02-03 max 04-08 max
present max but this max could be if nissan would up the sport some to make it real contender

I dont know how people are saying the TL drives better then the maxima when my sister in law just got the new TL (with 17inch gunmetal wheels on top of that) with the tech package and the interior looks like a upgraded accord with 50 instead of 100 buttons the leather seats had stitching flaws and every time she would go over bumps i would hear clunking noises. I think a maxima SV with tech package has a more comfortable interior and a much better looking exterior. I just personally think the lights inside the TL are cool. (oh and the GPS setup looks like the accords gps which is pretty ugly)

but to each there own. ill still rip any TL and get more girls breaking necks to look @ the max

Random Thought: Who here thinks the new Limited Edition package for the "S" models will decrease sales of the Sport maxi's? I feel like Nissan made a wrong move there.
