I don't know anyone else that has done this to a 7th gen. Maybe a potential MOTM? Lol. I wish.

You are taking a risk when soldering any circuit board but I took the risk and it paid off.

AWESOME WORK!!!

Wished I had the knowledge to do something like that to my ride. How did you figure which LED's that you needed? Where did you get them?

MIGHT try this in the future. Just needed some info before that....

I can't take the credit for the work because a good friend that mods everything did it for me. My secret weapon so to speak. I keep trying to come up with innovative things to do that are different like the car-jack failsafe with he fuelpump kill, USB hub and now the led gauge swap.

Getting ready for a few more things coming this summer. I really hate things stock. Love change and originality. It's a sickness. Lol.

This is hott and should come as the standard color in the interior lighting instead of that ugly azz orange they use now.

Mooshoo that is HOT! I agree with the others...this should be the stock color wow it makes the orange look terrible.

How hard was it to get the cluster and circuit board out? I got a boy who is an electrical engineer does that stuff for a living, could easily change the LED's for me.

Thanks for all the compliments. Now how do I get to be a MOTM? I really would like to be considered.

The cluster isn't that hard to get apart. Bunch of clips.

My friend said he would do them but you would have to pay for shipping both ways. Two day turn around time.

My boy can do it. He has swapped 100s of LEDs in various cars. Like any other mod, you do it at your own risk. With that being said, so far so good. Never had one fry yet. (knocking on wood).

I wouldn't be able to cover the cost of the replacement. If I made that promise, we would have to charge quite a bit to cover our butts.

The circuit board I used was the stock board. If you are asking what circuit board I used, I would ask you not to do this mod.

If you don't know what you are doing, I really suggest you don't do this. No warranty to replace your mistakes bro. Just looking out.

It took about 4 hrs total to get it all done. There is approx 80 LEDs to remove, place and re-solder. The LEDs are tiny!!

Did you think I bought the board with the LEDs I wanted in them? I wish bro.

We replaced each LED one by one.
