best non permanent way to black out door handles

is there way way to use the vinyl wrap thingy ? I don't want to spray paint it because that would be permanent. I'd like to be able to remove it in case the next owner prefers the chrome door handles.

vinyl would be easier to take off but probably harder to put on. wonder how plastidip works with the button you push to unlock the doors on the handles. also curious how it holds up over time since the door handles get touched quite a bit.

I wrap my door handle with vinyl. It was tricky but you definitely need heat gun to make the vinyl flexible.

whats the trick? do you heat and stretch the vinyl so that it fits curves? or do you hold the heat gun up until it makes the vinyl shrink and try to shrink it around the curves?
