Can anyone tell me if you can add a double din to a maxima with navi already equipped??

 

I've seen it done. I don't remember what post the pics are on but he took out the A/C and Radio controls and put it there. Not real sure where he moved it to. Didn't look right to me IMO but some other people like it. Not real sure how you would control both. Good luck with the mod though!

He doesn't. He has the S base model

 

ok.. so kmoney with a maxi thats already navi equipped can you swap out for a double din if so where would you locate the a/c controls

Yeah I have the 2010 S base model that I put my kenwood double din in. I now have a spot above the ac/heat display that is blank however. I've never seen an 09+ with navi have a double din, and I did a lot of looking. There are a lot of features the kenwood has that the stock navi doesn't have, but you have to be sure you can install it.

 

good green... good lookin bro I am trying to decide which maxima I want I know I want a 2011 just dont know which model im looking for leather and heated seats with fogs but there are so many different models.. and would hate to purchase a max that I can not make a easy swap with the pioneer avh4200dvd i already have....
