Show me your smoked headlights??
Light projection is not affected at all that I can tell. I paid $40 for the headlight tint from him. Me and my buddy installed them in about 20-30 minutes. The tails are a pain if anyone plans on doing those as well. Just an FYI

Gotta email him directly, he doesn't have a real site or anything. I got tail light tints from him sitting on my desk still cause I can't find anyone who wants to mess with them for installation. They say they're very thin and are nervous about ruining them. I personally tried before with tail light tints and know that the Max's will be a b!tch to contour to so don't want to ruin them. If anyone knows someone in the DC/MD/VA area that would install them that'd be awesome...

Honestly my buddy that is an experienced tinter did them... Without the secret weapon ( A steamer) it couldnt have been done IMO... Not easy at all to do the tails because they come a point... I do not suggest just anyone try doing this without alot of experience...

"Rking21" GT I think u just sold me fam I was thinking that it would be OD on a black car but that looks sick!!
the guy did a nice job, not too dark or too light..just right...plus he clear coat it..to be honest i'm too scared to open up my h/l..i think it would never fit back right..and if a pro do it..he will charge alot..
Maybe I could visit a junkyard and grab a headlight off some beater and practice. I could reseal it and clog all the holes on it with tape and leave it outside to see if it condenses. Seems like a useful skill to learn anyway.
Yeah and a condensed foggy light would look hella worse than the stock ones. Has me considering trying to get a set of the 2011 sport headlights and sell mine or something; then again I'll probably end up wanting to add halos/demon eyes to that so I'll crack it at some point anyway...

2011 Headlights cost $1600 for the set, Nissan is ridiculous with these prices. I would look on ebay, craigslist, or hit up the junkayrd like you said, you should find something. Im sure even second hand these can run anywhere from 300-500 for a single headlight. They cost me 800 a piece from Nissan.
Splitting the headlights apart is not that difficult but it is time consuming... Just search it on google. Itll be just like any of the other headlights shown. Put oven at about 200* put a headlight in there (minus all bulbs, seals, ect..) let it sit in there for ~10 mins and start working on it. Once it gets cool again, stick it back in there for another 5-7 mins. Just take your time and DO NOT set the heat any higher than 200* or you will risk getting a bunch of little cracks in the headlights!

Thats the best look to me. Or the painted housing.
