Why is Nissan so hush hush on the 2012's?

So I just realized, we are going to be going into the beginning of June fairly shortly and I would have thought by now we would have heard at least a little tidbit about the mid life cycling due of the Maxima on the 2012 models. Nissan has been bringing out the next year model Max's the last few years between June-Sept so I thought by now we would have heard something.

Likewise for the Altima. The 2012 is due for the redesign yet no news or peaks at that? These are two bread and butter vehicles for Nissan so I would have thought by now we would have at least something.

I'm eagerly awaiting both. It will be very interesting to see what they refine on the Maxima for the mid life refreshing.

I think it's going to be a while before we see any new things, the japanese tsunami earthquake has really taken a hamper on things for japanese car co's.

I think nissan will b ok in terms of design if the juke, cube and M45 designs signs of the future.

toyota on the other hand, is falling asleep. Their new lexus HS, CT are dissappointing. They don't have anything new for toyota other than the corollla re style.

hyundai and kia are game changers, no longer can toyota expect to sell boring, reliable cars. they have to now make things exciting starting from their lowest entry level offerings.
