thanks for all the advice guys, ive heard 4in muffler can be too big, ideal is 3-3.5 to allow proper power output, idk if that makes any sense to anyone lol, the 3in one on the site is a dual exhaust so it looks like id have to go 4in anyway, these are the two that i found..

also, im looking for the horsepower and torque increase a lot of exhaust systems claim to have, idk that im gonna get that from just mufflers im not going just for sound, and since we dont have headers for these cars yet if you were to make an exhaust that gave u the most torque and HP gains in addition to the borla boomers what would you get?

cant find any cattman high flow resonators online...^^and i dont think greddy makes an exhaust for us, i went on carid.com and went to their exhaust categories for the 7th gens, u can pick and choose from mufflers to pipes to cat converters to resonators...

do both bolt-ons and welded parts void warranty on the car at all? my boys shop can build me a borla exhaust for much cheaper than the bolt-on one sold online but wasnt sure if welding meant different things for the warranty or what

Both Bolt ons a and welded parts void the warranty. But only if they cause a problem, an exhaust wont cause any problems.

Shadowx3081, when are we racing again?! U dissapointed me :-( yes, the Borla exhaust is much quiter than Stillen idk about rust but overall I would still take Stillen over Borla because it sounds better! Just take care of the exhaust every month and that's it.

another muffler choice you could look at could be vibrant performance.

they have nice black stealth mode mufflers that sound amazing. I've heard them on everything from a built STi, a turbo civic, RB26DETT swapped mazda, BMW M3, and more. They unanimously sounded great. http://www.vibrantperformance.com/pressrelease20.php
My friend who owns a performance shop swears by them, and did the install on the listed cars.

Either way, best of luck on the decision.

Im in the same situation with my 2012 that I just got and I want a pretty good (not loud) sound especially in the cabin. This is where CORSA EXHAUST comes in. I have sent them a email and no response back yet. Their touring mufflers have awesome sound with no drone and even the sport mufflers are just a little louder with no drone. Lingenfelter recommends them for all their projects which i know is mostly if not all V8's. But I can't find a single clip of anyone with a corsa muffler on a 6 cylinder engine though. Anyone with a link to one?
